Triggering New Romulus Reputation Missions

PS4- Rank 50 Romulan captain. Beamed to the ground for New Romulus and unlocked all the transport areas but I can't seem to trigger any reputation missions. I can collect plants, rocks, radiation, etc but anything else is you have to be Tier 1 or higher to trigger missions.

Do I have to run around collecting stuff until I hit Tier 1? I am doing the Mirror Invasion and collecting marks there but that is once a day.

This one is working very different from the Dyson Reputation which is fine. Just wondering if I am missing something as Dyson missions triggered right away.

I'd imagine that you'd have to be tier 1+ to do those missions. It's only a 2 day wait before you're tier 1, do the patrols for marks.

Did you ever talk to the Romulan ambassador at ESD or First City to get sent to help out New Romulus? That's how you get the regular "help out in area X" chain. When you arrive there is a KDF and Federation contact near the Foreman that should have a [ Q ] over their head.

The Romulan Rep missions (Secret Shuttle Codes, Web Access, something-or-other) unlock at rep tiers on PC, like with the Dyson rep, with the final one requiring tier 5.

Yes went to the ambassador and nothing from them. Guess because I hit tier one playing Mirror event. Getting activity and missions now for Romulan reputation so good news.

On the PC they changed how that works with the last patch, they are now tied to your story progress, you need to finish the Breen and Borg story missions before the rep missions become unlocked, probably the same issue with the console version.

Thanks. I am not even close to those missions yet. For some reason, I hit 50 pretty early with my Romulan character and still have at least half the story missions to play. I think Nimbus III story line is next on my list. Since my T5 ship already is set up with mostly Mark XI gear, figured I just to move on to some of the other activity like events and reputation and play the remaining stories in bits and pieces. Romulan Reputation activities are starting to show up so I will play what works to get to Tier V for my Romulan character.

I know stories aren't linked that well on the PS4. I was doing some stuff with my main and got put onto a different track that I end up playing the Dyson stories before I even finished my Cardassian stories. Main is rank 52 so just gearing up my ship for now and doing events and reputations, then will go back to stories later. At this point, none of the gear in the most of the remaining stories matter except to sell for EC. Only last two story groups will make a difference for me.
