Operation: Gamma temporal probe not popping

I have been trying to complete the episode 'Operation: Gamma' for a few weeks now. The temporal probe is not popping up anywhere in the map. I even had someone helping me look all over for it....it just is not there.

Can this be fixed somehow? Thanks.
