New Beta Reticuli system.

So, while checking the galactic map, I noticed a new system on it, "Beta Reticuli". It wasn't there before Artifacts and its name doesn't disappear when you zoom out, similar to important points of interest on the map. It also seems to have replaced Battle Group Omega.

I tried to search for some info about it in the Star Trek lore and nothing came out, except a non-canon entry featuring THIS comic.

Beta Reticuli is also a real solar system, which is a triple star system while the current in-game representation only has one sun.

So I'm wondering: is it part of a future mission, but as the current story arc seems to go for the Tzenkethi, it's surprising to possibly have a mission so deep in the Beta Quadrant, or is it just the non-interactive replacement of BGO?

I'm guessing... replacement. BGO had been orbiting a solar system, now we see the system name instead of BGO.

I'm going to bet non-interactive and possible Foundry gateway point when that comes back. Probably just was easier to change the sprites/icons/avatars/whatever on the map and in Sector Space and rename it than to remove it completely...
