How to be removed from test servers

I like to know how to be removed from the test servers. I do not want the shards showing up in my launcher. How can I be removed from that?

Why?? They don't do anything unless you click on them!

If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

Go into the game files and delete the Playtest folder. Your Tribble characters will still be there if you decide to install it again at some point. Beta folder's probably Redshirt, but I've never removed that to know for sure.

Only thing I know of that might work is a complete uninstall and reinstall of the game.

But having said that... If you are a subscriber or LTS, you may not have the option.

I don't think that will work for removing Redshirt and Tribble from the launcher. I've done a clean install of Star Trek Online, on my laptop, and Redshirt and Tribble options still show up. Next best option might be the "fast start" in the game launcher options. I believe the Fast Start option defaults to the Holodeck server, or maybe the last entered server, after doing any updates it would just launch the game instead of waiting for a server type to be chosen. Seems like it's stored on the server once you signed up for the test servers.

Even though the test server options showed up on my laptop, it doesn't do anything unless you select it, then it checks for updates, etc.

You can't remove those, they are always there. The shards only vanish when Cryptic disables them on their end. However, it has no meaning to you unless you click on them, in that case you'll download and install a second or third copy of STO which takes up space on your computer. But as long as you simply ignore them, nothing happens.
