Hi folks!
I've been running through some Foundry missions lately, and I'm impressed at what's possible with them. After I ran "Once More, With Feeling" (I think that's what the title was, it involved going through a temporal loop), I started thinking about making some missions of my own. One of them would be called "Another Piece of the Action."
The gist of it would be that Klingons have infiltrated the planet of Sigma Iotia II (where "A Piece of the Action" takes place) and a group of Iotians have allied with them. Thanks to the Iotians' ability to rapidly absorb and imitate, a new crop of "Klingons" are set to take over Federation holdings on the planet. Can you stop the Klingons and convince the Iotians that they're backing the wrong horse?
As far as scenery would go, I'm assuming that the mission areas would look like Klingon and Federation bases, without Earth city textures since those aren't in STO.
Would this idea work? And what could I add to make the mission more interesting?

If you haven't taken a look at something like this yet, here's a tutorial series going through the basics of the Foundry.
I've also put a few thoughts on approaching and building missions down in this preview video (for more of a gist of what we do).

Think of it as building a model train set (there's no custom geometry or retexturing, except when it comes to ship skins but that's identical to what we have in the STO ship tailor), experiment, and if you have any specific questions let us know.
Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence
Looking for something new to play? I've started building Foundry missions again in visual novel form!
