We're excited to announce both the release of the Steamrunner Bundle.

With our new update, we have a complete remodel of the Steamrunner!

    I thought this would also include a T6 Steamrunner for some reason. You've raised my hopes and dashed them quite expertly, sir. Bravo!

    Steamrunner is an odd beast in being a team supporter while being an escort. That said, it is a beast and it is certain to reinforce my fed characters in the future.

    Also, calling the release to the C-store of the T1 Andorian escort in the near future.

    If it is the same Steamrunner as from steam then it has a T-5U option:

    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Steamrunner was one of those ships I thought about getting from steam mostly for the title that came with it (steampowered) Just never did. The clean up of the model looks great beautiful work. I hope to see the T1 Andorian ship soon been wanting that since I started playing just wasn't going to drop 200$ on neverwinter to get that ship at the time.
    Space is vast, it's wonderful and maddening. Yet in that madness is some of the greatest beauty I have ever seen.

    Steamrunner was my favorite ship in First Contact (Sovereign was a close second), and I still run the Steamrunner as my Fed Escort-of-Choice in a game where pretty much every Escort plays the same.

    The two different physical models of the Steamrunner in game is a nice reminder that Cryptic does listen to player feedback and make changes on that feedback, as myself and many others were pushing for the option of having the Steamrunner's engines located on the rear of the saucer, right here in the forums.

    My only concern is whether or not this means the Steamrunner Bundle on Steam is going to go away in the near future, in order to push STO onto ARC, and eventually discontinue Steam support entirely. Since that little exclusive thing isn't limited to Steam any longer, and thus PWE has one less reason to keep STO on Steam.​​

    I got the steam starter pack for the console and then realized how good the ships were all i need now is a T6 Variant it with a mastery to do with torpedoes. But i am glad to see this ship is back so more people can get it.

    Does this mean that those of us that already own the ship will automatically get the upgraded look or will we have to rebuy it?
    (Just the look, I don't expect to get the console for free)

    Assuming it's the same as previous ships, the updated model will be available if you already own it.

    No T6 version? To me its not worth getting the older outdated T5 unless the universal console is an OP defense that is a must have.

    It's been awhile since I've paid attention to a rereleased ship.
    So we'll just have to go to the Ship Tailor on the 13th and redo the look of our current model.

    You upgrade it like any other T5 C-store ship; you use an upgrade token.

    That said, a T6 variant wouldn't be a bad idea in the near future.

    And as for the comment made by @chitowngrizz420 about its console, the Resonance Cascade Modulator reduces damage to shields by 20% team-wide and completely removes shield bleedthrough damage. Both of these effects last 12 seconds. They nicknamed this the Team Fortress buff in its tooltip.

    So those of us that got this in the Steam bundle need to buy it again to get the console?

    Will the game even let us buy it again if we already have it even if we discharge it?

    How will those of us that supported the game by buying the Steam bundle get the console?

    Or via a 3rd party via a promo code which rumors are is happening sadly with the Sovereign.
