Graphics Feature Request

Can we please change the in game Render Scale adjustable range of 50%-100% to 50%-200% and have it work. Have 100% as default of course. With the update/change to Lighting 2.0 fps are increased. The game will save the renderscale in the cfg file as 1.75. However the game will display at 1.00 max when you load the game. Very annoying having to manually type in /renderscale 1.75 every time I enter the game.

/renderscale .9999 on my system is an improvement over 1.00 oddly. Possibly because it's windowed maximized, I dunno. .99 was better and .999 was even better and .9999 was the best. Alas 4 decimal points is max the game will do using /renderscale .9999. Now while the game can save .9999 in the cfg file it will not display as .9999 and instead displays in the UI and graphically as 1.00. Meaning that I have to manually type /renderscale .9999 every time I start the game to get that scale to work correctly. I am assuming the game rounds the number by 2 decimal places every time i load the game and every time you make any graphic setting changes. If the game can display with 4 decimal points can we please change the rounding to 4 decimal points instead of 2 decimal points. Then i'd be able to save at .9999 and it would display as .9999 in the UI and graphically. So in total it looks like the game will display at loading with round 2 decimal points and max 1. Not sure why it has those restrictions.

FXAA typically is not very good in most games and I rarely use it as it's to blurry. However FXAA with STO works extremely well comparatively. I still favor MSAAx8. Since FXAA is a post process AA i'd love to see it separate from MSAA and TXAA. I'd love to combine MSAA with FXAA. If the game can do this and i assume it will i'd really like to see this change.

Cool I no longer have to type /renderscale .9999 any more. It's now displaying graphically and does not change when I hit apply in the graphics menu even though it shows as 1.00. Except for the UI display of 1.00 i'm quite happy with the fix.

    Thanks guys

Now about the ability to combine msaa with fxaa :)

Wanted to test if MSAA*8+FXAA worked and if it did how well did it do and what was the gpu cost. 1920x1080 all settings at max except as noted and using renderscale .9999 as it looks better then 1.0. So here's a few pics. Click pics for bigger picture.

The performance cost of adding fxaa to msaa*8 was 3% with my gtx970 gpu. Small price to pay for the benefits achieved. Now i had no issues running the game with msaa*8+fxaa. So i now know it's possible. Can we please now have post process AA separate so we can combine txaa or msaa with fxaa. cheers
