Shield auto-balance on Console

Looking at so many other QoL tuning items in the Console patch notes, this one occurred to me.
Because we can't specifically distribute shields to any individual facing anyway, why do we have to hold down the stick to balance them? It adds an uncomfortable element to the controls. Let the shields automatically balance to all four facings. Or at least let us toggle auto-distribution. That way if you've got an ability or effect that only triggers on shield depletion, like the Dyson shield, you can still account for that.
Our left thumbs would be eternally grateful!
