xbox-klingon tier 6 ship advice

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Im tactical so naturally was looking at the kor bop. But everything I have read about it makes it sound better as a science ship. Any advice?

    you can stilll fly it as a sci ship as a tact.

    though if you want something a little closer to standard, I hear good things anoy the mat'ha and pilot raptors.

    the kolasi siege destroyer is also pretty nice.

    wait are those on xbox.

    The BoP is also an excellent tactical ship. It has the turn rate and the weapon loadout capabilities to work as tactical ship. The Universal bridge officer seating also makes you very flexible. The only reason it might seem less ideal to tactical is because enhanced battle cloak works best with a torpedo and exotic damage build. But it can also be an extremely fragile build, so playing it more like a regular battle cloak build that decloaks traditionally to blow up enemies from their rear arc works great.


    What other options are currently on X-Box? As a PC player I am not sure.


    The ultimate tactical ships are definitely the Pilot Raptors, but I am almost certain they aren't available yet on consoles.

    Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

    The choices we have are the kor bop, negh'tev heavy battlecruiser, qa'tel flight deck raptor, qib Intel battlecruiser, and thats it.

    Honestly, I would wait for the Kurak Battlecruiser.

    The options currently available on console are really lackluster. The rest of the line up is coming in time, I know you probably want a new ship now, but don't throw away money on a ship you don't want. Trust me, I have done that.. and it sucks. ;)

    Qib is a pretty mean ship, used them for a quite a while and I did not dislike them at all.

    Yeah, with what's on the table, I'd second the vote for Qib. It's a very strong contender.
