Game Crash with new Patch

in Tribble - General Discussion and Feedback
Since the new Patch Last Night i have perma Crashes of the Game.Happens after Login,Npc talking.

Any fix for that?

    Sorry I will be off topic, but how are the performance of the game on Wine/Linux (under normal conditions), is there big differences?

    I'm in dual boot (Arch/Win7) and I hesitate to install wine to test STO on it.

    I'm also seeing a crash on the Cryptic logo screen, but much earlier, probably around 2% done. Running under the Mac CrossOver version of Wine.

    I'm wondering if they upgraded the system requirements to Win7 or later (I'm running in an XP Wine bottle), or whether the update graphics require something later than the version of DirectX that Wine supports (DX9?).
