adapted MACO or assimilated for a Warbird?

    Well, depends on your overall build. Both are still pretty good but depending on what stats you want/need one would work better than the other.

    Team Ambush Field is the 3 set bonus for wearing the Omega Set. Team Ambush Field is 15% Dodge bonus for the whole away team. Basic Veteran (only available on the Romulan Engineering DoFF you receive in the early Romulan missions) gives you another 15%, for a total of 30%.

    If you use the Gambling Device, your Dodge chance goes up to 40%. Equip an Omega or Shattering Harmonics personal shield on your captain and your Dodge chance goes up to 70%.

    70% chance to reduce all incoming damage by about 60% (before resists) is mighty nice.

    @ OP

    Depends on the warbird. For a torp boat (T'Liss, T'Varo or Malem), you might want to consider using the Klingon Honor Guard set for the Torp bonus, rather than either Maco or Assimilated. It's in the Omega Reputatio, too.

    KHG is only available for KDF and since the OP is talking about A-MACO & assimilated means the character is fed aligned.
