Build Question.

I got the Advanced Escort T6 (Hestia Class) and every build I look up says use Dual Heavy Cannons BUT I can't equip them, they're all grayed out. Am I doing something wrong? Or is every inch of my game bugged?

Are you trying to equip them to the rear slots? dual / dual heavy can only go into the front slots, the same as with dual beam banks. You want turrets for the rear slots.

Also, what is your level, and what is the Mark level of the cannons? If you are below level 45 you can't equip Mark XII, if you are below 50 you can't equip XIII - XIV.

I'm level 54 and yes I know they go in the front slot. I bought level appropriate Dual Heavy Cannons. If you check the standard layout of the Hestia Cstore ship, it comes already equipped with cheap DHC's -that I can no longer equip now lol

I'd suggest filing a bug report and posting in the support forum.

Yeah I figured it out, have to add the DHC's via the ship page not the inventory on Xbox One.

I'm still learning A lot I don't understand; like as an Admiral why am I taking orders from a Commander and running errands for a Lieutenant?

cause command just doesn't like you... no really thats the closest thing to a reason we've gotten.

For my immersion, the thing that helps when a lower rank gives my admiral orders is the accept/decline button.

If it was really an order, we wouldn't be allowed to decline. Since they need my approval, i can rationalize it like my character is in command. But then I'm a wacko who speaks my dialog and orders to my crew outloud as i play.
