consignment for work system window like EverQuest for upgrades idea

I wish this game had a consignment type window like EverQuest where people can work on upgrades for you for a fee while you watch the work being done in the window. Fee is put in the window, type of work is selected (upgrade an item where you don't have the skill to do so yourself on an item that is account/character only), materials put in the window by the customer, and the crafter/upgrader does the work. When completed, it drops into your inventory, and fee is deposited to the crafter.

The problem would be: random modifiers on everything.

And it doesn't matter what your "experience" in R&D is...you could be the most ultimate Crafter....you have no control over what you get in the end. Other than type of...which you CAN pick.

Hence: one would need to craft and upgrade over and over and over....until the item with the modifier you want drops for you. So, it is more than just paying one time.

Most crafters sell stuff in the Exchange. Higher EC price for the more desirable modifiers.

And if you want them upgraded....yeah, you still have to dish out more.
Oh and rarity upgrades....that would be even more.
