I am looking for a guide for building skills for the carrier I intend to aquire (kar'fi) so if any of you know a current build it would be much appreciated.
The Kar'fi is quite the oddball. Maneuverbility of a battlecruiser, cmdr sci seat, the weapon layout of an escort and 2 hangar bays.
Generally I'd go with 4 dual beams in the front, 3 omni beams (1 mission reward (AP/TET/POL), 1 crfated beam, 1 KCB) in the rear and make use of FAW and attack patterns in your tac slots. With your cmdr sci slot you have a wide a array of shenannigans available, grav well, feedback pulse, destabilized resonance beam, tractor beam repulsors and more fun stuff.
That engi seat is best filled with emergency power to weapons and engineering team. With that and some decent gear you're pretty much set to go out there and melt stuff
The reason why there are barely any of these things around is because it's been broken for a long, long time.
Countless reports written and we still got a "ghost ship" cruising around.
