in Ten Forward
Assuming the new show goes well, how long from after the pilot episode do you estimate the game will add anything from it? And if it fails, will said content be removed?

    Assuming no prior knowledge but that they had the rights, end of 2017 best case scenario. Most likely well into 2018.

    I don't see them removing anything like that, as I think we'd probably get ships and uniforms. If we get a mission, it's not going to be removed just because it didn't go very well. But I think they'd want to know more about the new series before making any content other than cosmetics and a ship at least.

    DSC could be the reason we don't have the Cage uniforms or the pilot Constitution, or hand lasers etc. yet.​​

    Discovery should retcon Enterprise and keep The Cage's laser pistols and the "Howitzer", the latter by the way should also be added as the 23c engineer's turret.

    I'm not saying that the weapon model was retconned, I'm saying that lasers in general were. Phase weapons of the 22nd Century were meant to be the precursors to Phasers. Maybe the laser Pistol could be a different model Phaser Pistol instead of a laser.

    Don't forget that according to TNG, ship grade lasers were not even capable of penetrating the Navigational Deflector of the Enterprise-D. So in theory that holds true for even the 23rd Century. Keep the models, but make them Phasers instead. That way... both are preserved.

    I know I meant the style not the energy type. Still a laser proc would be fun.
