D7 is definitely the best of the three, hell I'd rather have the Romulan ship than the Connie in all honesty.
But seeing as I have a Fleet Malem on my Rom Tact, and I don't think the T6 D7 is so much better than the T6 Fleet Mogh, other than the D7 looking better, as to justify the cost for a Single character.
The Malem is really a surprising amount of fun. And pretty deadly. Not sure the T'Liss can really be much better, even though the mechanical advantages are obvious.
Now where is the T6 Vor'cha
Hopefully soon in a C-Store nearby? There haven't been a lot of T6 C-Store ships lately, and a cross-faction pack containing Vor'Cha and Sovereign would seem to make a lot of sense. (Don't know what to put in on the Rom side...)
I really am hoping that you're right about the Vor'cha being delivered via the C-Store. Dreading another lockbox delivery.
I was playing around with some visual options this weekend and settled on the Type 1 Skin...I think it's Type 1...it's the predominately dark gray colored skin. I put the Aegis shield in the Shield visual slot which creates some well-placed glowing red accents, the best of which I thought were on the front of the warp nacelles where the disruptors are. Looks good!
Looks good, too.
I'm terribly sorry, but I'm gonna disagree sharply with that statement. The K't'inga model in the game is utterly borked and inaccurate as heck. In fact, I think its the least accurate representation of ANY canon ship model in the game, that includes all factions and alien vessels!
- First of all, the nacelles don't glow within camera range. This bug is so old it might be the oldest one I know of.
-Second, the model is a rush job beyond compare. They put some minor details on the upper hull, changed the impulse engines and called it a day. They even admitted it on the forum, but couldn't promise when they could get around to fix it!
- Aft torpedo launcher is missing. Did they watch the first scene these things were ever seen in?! Even late 90's Star Trek games with low poly models got that right.
- The shape is exactly the same as the D7. There minor differences here, mostly noticeable on the warp nacelles and bridge module. Not a big deal, but as a long time fan of the ship I saw that immediately.
- None of the window options available match the movie model.
The fact they couldn't fix ANY of this for this super expensive promo is just.... nah can't say it.
Look closely and you will see the abundant inaccuracies.
I sincerely doubt they will ever revisit it. With less than 7% of the player population playing Klingon and this being an old design, even if the limited edition Temporal version is based on a futuristic ship with enhanced abilities but having the same appearance, I don't think they'll go back to doctor it up. Not unless they think they can cash in on it. You're right, that missing aft torpedo port is a glaring oversight. It looks as if there's enough room to add the port. Would love to see them correct it...but...I doubt it. Until then, I'm flying it. The Temporal version's statistics and abilities are so much better than the T5-U Fleet Retrofit version it's not even funny. And the Fleet version wasn't bad.
"Cryptic...do the right thing. There should be a maximum amount that a player can spend before the item becomes a guaranteed drop."
I agree with you 100%. I have never done lockbox thing, but sometimes thinking about, I feel dirty playing this game given how utterly predatory this game is with lockbox ships, its one thing to charge a high price for something, it another to encourage people to spend a fortune to get something, only for them not to get it. It feels like fruad honestly, its absolutely morally bankrupt.
And I say this as someone who has nothing to gain from saying it as all my favourite ships are all C-Store/fleet ships (Corsair FDC, Jupiter Carrier, Chronos, Daciot, ect...).
