T6 Negh'Var?

I find myself disappointed that a race as warlike as the Klingons don't get a battlecruiser that offers both 5 forward guns and 5 tac slots. It would make all the sense in world if they decided they needed their own version of the Scimitar, in the form of an actual dreadnought instead of the so-called flagships we have currently.

As it stands I love my Mat'Ha and Tac Pilot raptors and fly them the most, I just wish the Klingons had the option of a slightly heavier vessel that had that console/hardpoint combination.

What does this have to do with the T6 Negh'Var in your title? T6 Negh'Var is 4/4 weapons and 3 Tac consoles...

It doesn't have to be called a Negh'Var, I would just like a KDF battlecruiser that rivals the Scimitar in terms of weapons and consoles. Surely if any race is capable of this, it's the Klingons.

Have you looked at the T6 Kurak Battlecruiser?

The Kurak is close with 5 Foward weapons and 4 tac consoles, but not the 5+5 requested by the OP (which, IIRC, remains unique to the Scimitar outside of escorts). Even the new Temporal D7 is 5+4.

IMO even the fact that you have to look at the Mogh/Kurak is frustrating - both the Vor'cha and Negh'var have huge forward-facing weapon arrays on their screen models, but are 4/4 in game because that was the maximum allowed in 2010.

Both have 5+5, but aren't cruisers.

The Scim breaks the mould for layouts and size. Any cruiser by definition must have 4-5 engineering slots and tac or sci slots cannot exceed engineering slots numbers as those are the purviews of escorts and sci ships.

Would like to see a T6 Torky though.

I personally would have loved to see the T6 version of the Neg'var become a 5/3 with 5 tact consoles as well. The Qudaj variant has always been one of my favorite designs skin-wise, with that aggressive hammerhead shark look to it. Even with it being a 4/4 with the fleet version being a 5/3/3 yellow/blue/red, I'm still going to find a way to make it decent for my tact main(having a sticky web cat 1 console slotted in either an engi or sci slot will help) when i get it.
