I've looked all over the 23rd Century and I want to know where I can find food cubes.

Where are they? You see Food Cubes all over in TOS, but I have yet to see a single cube of honeydew melon, much less the multi-colored treats consumed by humans and aliens alike throughout TOS.

In the 23rd Century there are protein resequencers to create artificial roast turkeys that look, smell, and taste like they were gobbling on the farm a week ago, but no replicators to offer gourmet dining on a fast food budget. My crew needs cubes!

    Fun fact: they are actually cubes of watermelon, honeydew, and cantaloupe.

    In the future we'll all be on an all fruit salad diet.

    Least he can't sing with a mouth full of melons. I would've had Uhura rip the speakers out of the walls after the first round of that song.

    That said, I would love to see these cubes turn up as a consumable in STO.

    Honeydew is like the worst fruit. it wants to be cool like Watermelon but it just sucks.

    actually, that's just how dirty the water from the replicator is. Those are Ice cubes. :P

    Apparently the protein resequencers aren't all that great anyway.

    The color is off because of the lighting used. The same lighting that turned kirks green velour shirt into gold.

    and in the Babel conference mission, I think the food cubes are on the table there, with the other munchies. :)

    On that note, I guess those multi-colored tortilla chips they have at some restaurants would fit right in.
