I've been playing STO since the 'public beta' right before launch (I have taken some breaks, however).
This is a list of suggested UI improvements.
- Duty Officer assignment UI does not remember collapsed sections. For example, if you're trying to build up Exploration you collapse "Science" but after each assignment, "Science" is expanded again.
- Duty Officer assignment filter could use some improvements: Show Common/Uncommon/Rare/Ultra Rare, Sort by Time, Sort by Category XP Reward, Sort By Expertise Reward, etc.
- Duty Officer In Progress list should have sorting options: Time Remaining, etc.
- Romulan Singularity Abilities in the ship tray should be movable. (I have one character got for some reason lists them in another order and you can't fix it.)
- R & D, Admiralty and Duty Officer mission screens should have a "Collect All" option.
- Reputation Projects should be in the same order. Some show "Daily, Hourly" others "Hourly, Daily". Project order should be consistent.
- Bridge Officer skill screen, should have a 'train all' (as long as there's expertise available and manuals), should have a "are you sure" confirmation.
- There should be an option to lock the tray page changes. It's annoying in the heat of battle to be trying to click on an ability and instead you move the tray page. Maybe have it linked to the existing 'lock tray' option for ability dragging.

Also +1 on persistence of UI state. Collapsed sections, where I was scrolled, whether the search criteria bar is visible -- remember all that, please! Every time I run a queue I have to un-collapse the search bar, click off all marks, then click on Temporal Marks (or whatever reputation I'm currently working on).
And +1 on more consistent ordering of reputation projects. Other stuff in the UI is similar. E.g. the dances aren't alphabetical, and some dances show as internal identifiers ("Dance_Fan" instead of "Dance (Fan)" or the like), while others have a clear text representation.
