wow tuff guy I'm not trying to do anything but state my opinions I swear players like you that say things like this to me only makes me wonder if players like you are credit farmers that farm credits to sell them for real cash sounds to me only credit farmers tend to say things like this to make themselves self righteous
Subsequently, are you twelve?
You didn't punctuate what so ever in that post so im going to assume yes.
ya only a select few can get them and I'm not talking about the exchange either I'm talking about the box itself only a select few get them in the lock box and don't say its luck cause lately the same person has been getting them like no tomorrow and I seen his name like 7 to 10 times in a span of 10 to 15 mins playing and the fact he is getting multiple ships like there is no tomorrow tells me that there is something up with this bs either he is using some kind of exploit that tells him or lets him get multiple ships and or is has some kind of website or something that tells him when to open the boxes either or that is suspicious to me and the fact that he admitted it before his reddit account got banned that he was not only knoing a exploit but selling these ships for EC and then selling the EC for real money and that right there is a clear cut violation of the game rules and its not luck either all he is a stupid credit farmer that is exploiting the game that needs to be banned.
Honestly, sorry OP but I still fail to see how anyone can miss the most obvious aspect of this lockbox.
Namely that its release coincided with the release of a movie in which one of the two ships offered by this promotion features in. Regardless of how the KT Constitution found its way into the game, with 'Beyond' currently airing, now was the PERFECT time to introduce these ships to STO. And the popularity of these ships tends to support the fact that it was an excellent marketing move.
As said in an earlier post, it would be interesting to see if the KT lock box has proven to be the most popular one to-date. I strong suspect so.
well I understand your point but know this that the lock box system is the worst ever idea in this games history shouldn't of been allowed cause all the lock box is for the select few I've always supported cryptic and their decisions up until these lock boxes came into the game.

Okay - not going to argue that point, which is for Cryptic to address.
My point was simply that the release of this lock box was timed to coincide with the release of 'Beyond', which was an excellent marketing move and has resulted in the current lock box probably being the most successful lock box to-date.

I have to say that you are sounding awfully jealous right now.

And you just happened not to be among those select few so you are throwing a temper tantrum. Anyways, I never gambled with the lockboxes. I leave that in the capable hands of those select few. Instead I do what I have control over, namely acquiring the needed funds to buy the lockbox ships and items right off the exchange. This is a fireproof solution and one I would urge you to try if you feel cheated about a self-explanatory gambling system.
Yes yes, I know you cannot afford those insanely ships but that is the reality of things. It is something you may need coming to terms with. Instead of trying to change things that is beyond your immediate control you can instead start looking for viable ways to afford that which you currently cannot. You could pick up an extra job or find employment that pays you better. You will now probably argue that you can't for whatever reasons there are, but truth be told hearing people endlessly list what they cannot do makes me cringe.
This box made so much money for Cryptic, there is no way that they'll be removed or changed. As much as I personally dislike lock boxes, I have to reluctantly admit that the game needs them.
I don't like them, I don't use them, but the people that do pour so much money into the game that I can continue to enjoy it thanks to their investments.
And for the record, the guy that keeps winning all those Connies is the main reason they're so cheap on the exchange. Lock Box grand prize ships usually go for WAY more then 250M EC. Rather you want to admit it or not, the KT Connie is currently very easy to obtain and you can thank the guy you want banned so badly.
I'm also beginning to believe you're just jealous of those who keep 'winning' them. I'm not. I'm not going to obsess over any ship in this game that they decide to place in a lockbox or DOFF pack. If I really, really wanted one, I would find a way to get one, not come onto these forums and cry like a baby because I don't have the newest shiny.
I don't much like the lockboxes either and open very few of them myself. Only when I have the money to get zen, or now, when my stipend comes in later this month.
I have so many lockboxes stored back that I'll probably never be able to open them all. But that's me IRL as well. Call me a hoarder lol.
But OP, you stubbornly will not listen to anyone's advice and continue to cry and moan about something that will not change, no matter how many tears you shed.
Honestly, you cry and moan more than my newest granddaughter.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
Unlike other MMOs, Cryptic does not put a lot of stuff into their Store. Check Lotro or SWTOR. SWTOR does have a nice idea in that service type items can be be bought for an individual Character or provide an Account-wide unlock.
They have to make their money in some manner.

I just paid the money and got one through key sales (and it's cheaper now than when I got it). I switch between it and the Temporal Dreadnaught depending on my mood. If your looking to just straight up kill things, the Temporal Dreadnaught seems to work better than the Kelvin Constitution. But the Kelvin Constitution is likely to the only Lockbox ship I ever get.

A lot like this.
