In with the New Skipped Ahead a Little

It seems that focus is always given on putting the latest content in (which is a good thing dont get me wrong) but it seemed like there was a point where this didnt happen and so a lot of things are missing that would seemingly be quite easy to add. Off the top of the my head the Resolute class was skipped over and most bridges specifically the Origin bridge. I know adding to the Foundry isnt a simple drag and drop procedure but ti seems like a little retrospective on it woudlnt hurt instead of focusing on what's brand new. I'm not making a jab, I love the Foundry but there was stuff I was waiting on a long time ago that got lost along the way.

Given the limited development time that the Foundry actually gets... Going back and doing something that old... might not be a good idea.

They've usually been pretty consistent about getting all the new ships in the Costume editor, but they have missed quite a few lately. The TOS ships, the Resolute, and the Constellation all come to mind.

"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them."

The devs get us what they can when they can, but getting things is by no means a guarantee. It's usually devs who like the Foundry and go above and beyond their normal duties to try and get us new things.

Yeah I know, sadly the foundry doesn't provide the turnaround needed to justify dedicated dev support and there's only a limited number of ways they can incentivise it. That said making a short trailer for the foundry wouldn't be difficult, it might get more use if it had more exposure.
