Captain's vest, not what it's advertised as.

I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this (at least not that I've seen).

The Dilithium Store TWOK Captain's vest... is the vest from Star Trek: Generations, no the Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan vest.

Is there no research/fact checking department?

Either incorporate the proper vest, or change the name of the item you're selling.

TWoK is used as the name for that family of uniforms, i.e. used from TWoK to the Ent Cs era.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Was there even a vest prior to generation aside from Scotty's?

Funny thing, I played with the thought of getting those for my 23c character (before I knew the price tag) but quickly discovered that I really don't want them. I really wanted the jacket but seeing it in-game I don't like it that much any more. Must have misremembered how it looked and decided the winter jackets make a better looking excursion gear for my twok styled 23c now. I also use the tmp badge which is the same as the twok belt symbol, so I created my own Tos-Tmp-Twok intermediate uniform design.

^ Memory Alpha.org is not canon. It's a open wiki with arbitrary rules. Only what can be cited from an episode is. ^

There was, but it's an odd thing, targ, there's a bit of a continuity error regarding the WoK Captain's vest; When Kirk leaves the ship to go to Regula, he's wearing the bulky Excursion Jacket along with McCoy and Saavik. Once they're in the Genesis Cave, as time passes, they take the excursion jackets off and Kirk's wearing a vest over his turtleneck during some of the scenes. Then the Excursion Jackets are back on when he comms the ship and Spock beams them aboard... but when the crewman in the Transporter room helps him out of the Excursion Jacket and into a 'Monster Maroon' duty jacket, Kirk isn't wearing a vest.

Personally, I've been using the Enterprise top for a variant WoK 'Bomber Jacket' and the Jupiter 4 top for a take on the Excursion Jacket for a while now and, with no bomber jacket and the price tags (1,000,000 Dil - that's four months of refining since we STILL don't have a refinement cap increase - it's also, semi-appropriately, equal to 2409 Zen at current exchange rates. Hm, a single character unlock or a T5 ship for all characters on a faction... or nineteen Master Keys, or four or five account unlock costumes...)

I kind of feel sorry for the Art Team - they worked hard to add the WoK Vests, Excursion Jacket and 22c MACO uniform, but people are being driven not to enjoy the fruits of their efforts by the enormous price tag that's been hung on them...

Yep, and if you'll notice, it's basically the same vest as Scotty's Engineer's Vest, just jacket-red instead of pants-black.
