borg like ship

Hi,

I have a Romulan eng borg toon and I like give him a borg like ship with high dps.
Shamshir? or other ship? And what kind of config are you suggesting?
My playing style is „go there and fight”, I dislike to fly too much, but this behavior is changeable.
All suggestions are welcome.

    Your best bet would be one of the two 'borgified' Romulan ships.

    Tal Shiar Adapted Destroyer.

    Or

    Tal Shiar Adapted Battle Cruiser.


    The Battle Cruiser seems the best fit for your needs and in my personal opinion it's one of the coolest looking ships in the game. If you don't have Lobi to spend, you can pick it up on the Exchange, just be prepared.. it won't be cheap. These ships are both T5U but still very capable.

    If you want a more cost effective option, you could go with a Romulan C-Store ship of your choice and outfit it with the Borg Assimilated Set. These items add the look of Borg technology to your ship. You can either directly equip the items on your ship or if you just want the look, you can place them in the Visuals Tab.

    Note that Tal;Shiar ships aren't "true" warbirds, they the lack singularity core, and IIRC they only have standard cloaks.

    It is, at least, a very good warp core on the TSABC.

    Thank you for the answers. I dislike to use T5U ship, so I keep my Breen T6 with borg visuals. May be one day a real borg ship will come out.....

    The Breen Ships with Assimilated set really does make a very good 'borg like' ship. I sometimes fly the Breen Rezreth Dreadnought with the Borg Visuals and it looks great.

    The Tal Shiar Adapted Battlecruiser is a fantastic ship, but it's still way overpriced on the exchange. It costs more then most T6 ships and it's just not worth that much. If you ever have a chance to get one on the cheap though, don't let it's T5U stat throw you, it's a great ship.

    A cheaper and more generic solution is

    slotting the Borg Retrofit Deflector and gears in Visual SLot of a tiny ship ( size Defiant, T'varo )

    it will look very borg -ish

    it looks very funny on tiny ships ( a flying borg deflector and green trails ... )


    I would recommend you try this. It cost almost nothing on every toons and every ship ....( if you have dili vouchers )
