STO Account from PC to PS4?

When sto is released on PS4 in the fall I do intend on playing the PS4 version but id like to know will we be able to transfer our accounts to the PS4 version or will we need to create a new account, unless PC, Xbox and PS4 players going to be playing on mega servers at same time?

PS4, XBone, and PC will all have separate shards.
As it should be. If they were all together, we'd never hear the end of "STUPID (insert PC, PS4, Xbox) PLAYERS CAN'T PLAY BECAUSE OF THEIR STUPID (keyboard, controller)!!!! OH MY GOD, TAKE THEM OFF OF MY SHARD!"

I already say that about PC players, so no real difference there.
Also, in terms of content STO Console will lag behind STO PC. When STO console is launched it will be as of Season 11.5. The AoY Expansion will not be released until either early January or sometime after the 7th Anniversary Event begins. I'm sure a lot of people are looking forward to collecting more Omega Traces.
Also, there is no official date yet for the launch other than Fall 2016 which officially starts on Sep 22nd and ends on Dec 20th.
I got a good Sci ship from that anniversary event.

No, I misinterpreted his statement. I was thinking he sold omega traces to come up with EC to purchase a science ship from the Exchange for some reason.
