Sci officer/Raider combo

Hi guys, i'm thinking of making a KDF Orion character and was thinking of making her a Sci officer, i was originally thinking of making her a carrier centric character but since carriers are lackluster in T6 i was thinking a raider character instead.

What do you guys think?

If you feel like it, do it.

In this game there is no such thing as career type x is best suited for ship type x.

Go for it, if you get or have to T5 / T6 Bird-of-Prey with the Enhanced Battle Cloak you can fire off most science Bridge Officer abilities whilst still cloaked and not briefly dropping it like you do to fire Torpedoes.

If you go for that just remember to hull tank and not bother with shielding skills as your shields will spend most of the time off.

If you have the money for it go for the cross faction temporal ships and equipt Elite Orion Slavers on them.

That way you can fly a Temporal Raider with universal and temporal seats, an Actual Multimission Temporal Science Vessel with a hangar bay for your Elite Orion Slavers that has temporal seats and lt. Commander universal, and a Dreadnaught Cruiser that with a Sci Lt. Commander Sci and Uni/Temporal Lt., and Commander Engineering/Temporal feels that feels almost like a science ship with cruiser commands, and it also has a hangar bay for your Elite Orion Slavers.

All of them also have Molecular Reconstruction with Molecular Deconstruction Beam.

3 of the best ships in game, 2 of which you use with faction based pets, and third is a rare raider that feds can use, all for 60 bucks and that are cross faction, and ultra flexible.
