Jem'hadar bridge officer... is he worth it?

Is a Jem'hadar bridge officer really worth going through Facility 4028? And if you have one what skills do you give it or change?

I see no reason why it wouldn't be. I mean it's not insanely good or anything but it's definitely worth having for ground missions and I just leave it with whatever it comes with, I don't worry about what boffs use on the ground. though I do like giving him the jem'hader set when I'm done with it.

Facility 4028 isn't hard, semi-annoying, but not hard. He's NOT a one-time reward though so a lot of people turn him into a torp spread manual. The real reward for that mission if the Vorta and Jemhadar doffs. Dathan has a special power that lets you replicate the Ketracel consumable.

Something that I do is replicate 4 stacks of the ketracel white consumable, and give them all to the Jem'Hadar BOff. While it ordinarily poisons players or other BOffs, it gives them a damage and maximum hit points buff.

actually now that I think about it he makes a really good bodyguard for science captains when for whatever reason you can't bring a full away teams. all you need is a science debuff module to have an excuse to slot dathen and you don't have to worry about stocking him real heavily giving you room for more devices to boost him even more. add command powers so he can boost the whole team and he starts becoming a little scary.

EG field is a nice one for that. Root enemies AND reduce their damage resist! Then watch you boffs pelt them with grenades.

Exothermic Induction Field gets the boost to and one of the Risian doffs adds chance a root to it. so you light them on fire, reduce the damage resist and root them. granted only a 10% chance but then again FIRE!

Its free, so yes. You have to play through all the episodes anyway.

Nah. Not really worth it (at least not for space). He used to be, as I think he was the only ingame boff that came with TS3. But since that has now become a trivial skill you can just buy off Exchange, no need to bother with this boff any more.

I like my J-H BOFF. I do exchange that smoke grenade for either photon or plasma grenade. I despise smoke grenades.
Now a LTS and loving it.

The only problem I have had with him is his shroud ability. In theory it sounds good but in my experience he goes stealth at the start of every fight and then stands around for awhile doing nothing before he decides to attack someone, basically not participating in half the fight.

Anyone else notice this? Am I doing something wrong?

Elisa Flores also had TS3 and now so does Tarsi. For me the Jem'hadar Boff was always used as Solyent Green for the TS3 Manual.

Also because of the Resolve Trait on the Doffs, it is one of the Missions I Skip to door the Doffs on new Characters.

Elisa Flores (as an obtainable boff) was introduced long after the boff skill revamp. So, yeah, in the early days, that Jem'Hadar boff really was the only source for TS3.

I've never had this problem... actually I'm not sure I've ever seen he start with shroud. what do you have him using.

Not really, no. Even if you supply it with ketracel white all the time, not really worth it. Breen, Voth, Reman all have free attacks that are worth it in addition to the regular ground skills that are actually useful.

For being an 'ultimate' warrior servant species, the STO BOFF is meh.

My KDF uses him on ground missions. Where I want an extra Tac used instead of my usual line up. I like using him.

I use him on my KDF sci with stealth armor and pure melee. He hardly ever needs revived and he kicks butt.

Considering that ONLY the Jem'Hadar could have this...happen...

But seriously, it's a BOFF. If you have room for another, get him.

if you want to have a laugh give him the gamma tribble. extra dmg against Dominion and extra stealth for when he uses shroud. it can be cool when it goes just right. even better when it against other jem'hadar. jem'hadar try to sneak up on me. my jem'hadar sneaks up on them. >:)

Well actually the Federation Tutorial, and the introduction of Elisa, was in November 2013. The Boff Skill Revamp was in January, 2015.
