Returning to the 23rd Century - use Philip Crey.

Many folks are asking for a way to return to the 23rd century area (well ESD anyway) because they weren't able to purchase stuff when they were there - and didn't know they couldn't return later.

As a Temporal Agent doing all sorts of time travel stuff this should be as easy as pie. I'd like to propose using Philip Crey our resident ESD Temporal contact to do just this. Give him a dialog that any 23rd century character (not just Temporal Agents) can access which will return you to ESD in the 23rd century (to a time just before your ship goes *poof* in the last 23rd century battle) with instructions you are to tell no one about your involvement in future affairs.

Heck, let him be able to send us to the New Khitomer (future) maps as well, since this is all part of the timey whimey stuff.

And also, shouldn't he be the one we get the Pastak messages from? (Temporal rep) See: arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline/#/discussion/comment/12997785 There are a bunch of consoles near by which would work great for this.

Thanks! :)

Bah, all you really want is to go to the future and look up the lotto numbers...

Now, kidding aside, I'd like to go back. The fact that we are dead is irrelevant, because if we can use a holoprojector to make our ship look from that time, we can use a holoprojector to appear someone else. We actually do it at least in a mission.

It's a shame the Drozana episodes don't throw up anything for Aoy characters. They're home again before they even left. No temptation to change their future? No leaving messages for their families?

This, or make use of the utterly useless Captain's Table and put an NPC or "Temporal Doorway" there. It fits lore-wise anyhow....

not everyone can use the captains table though, and quite frankly we travel though time freely anyway just let ToS captains port back. worry about reasons and logic later. thats how they did it with the shows. thats how we should do it here.

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

That is why I said that Philip Crey sends you back just before your ship is abducted to the 25th century (like a week ahead of this battle, at some time you aren't on ESD in the past).

I think the captains table is actually the 23rd century station that got sucked in to the temporal anomaly...

Aside from that random though, we really do need to be able to go back to 23c space dock... I want to be able to get 23c tech for my toon!!!!

Unfortunately, it's only Ensign Level Training Manuals. And of course made them Bound to Character.

So you want to use the most destructive force in the universe (time travel) to go back in time for trivial reasons? Have you even read the temporal prime directive?!

Every time I log into the game on my 23c character, Phillip Crey pops up and says "I have nothing for you". Either shut him the hell up, or give me something to shoot.

The OP's idea is pretty good.

This is why I re-rolled mine. To get some items I wanted and missed.

The game states why you can't. Your supposed to be dead there. Showing back up will mess up the time line even more so. As someone will be like "Hey, ain't you supposed to be dead."

What if we wore those fake glasses with the big noses and moustaches ?
No one would even recognize us.

Or make all the manuals/equipment available in the future, perhaps from Phillip Grey himself.
Give him a store tab or something.

Or, or, instead of having to go back and get stuff, add the appropriate crafting options for (at least) 23c characters.

There's no logical reason why 23rd century technology couldn't continue to be available in the 25th century.

Time travel hijinks would only be required for the reverse.

How about this? Add a "point of entry" in the Bepi 113 system or whatever it's called. You know, the star that we did the slingshot around?
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

Or maybe make the manuals and other things buyable from a console in "Everything Old Is New" or "Night of the Comet." We travel to the TOS era (I think) then, so stuff should be available then. Make it a store interact-y in the bar in "NotC."

The Captain's Table is only useless because of it's entrance locations. Now if they added it to the Transwarp list, I'd be there all the time! o:) But as a place to return to the 23rd Century, it would have limited use as only a portion of the playerbase has access to it. It would be nice to put Philip Crey in there though if he is made a portal to the other times (past and future). :)

The Captain's Table needs some updating in addition to additional entrances. Just for fun, I stopped by yesterday. The place can be a great resource, but it does need more perks and easier access.
