I sincerely hope they will be releasing the Klingon "Warbird". My credit card has a layer of dust on it, but if that ship is put in the C-store, is T-6, and has a better boff layout than the K't'inga, I'll gladly blow off the dust and buy that ship.
But like the USS Kelvin, is it a Kelvin Universe ship? Parallels had thousands of Enterprise-Ds that looked identical. Klingons seem to like to keep their ship designs around for years so it could be a ship that was built before Nero destroyed the USS Kelvin and an identical version of it could exist in the Prime Universe. So if that is the case, then it makes more sense as a C-Store ship rather than a Lockbox ship.
I see no reason at all to believe that Star Trek Beyond won't generate any content for Star Trek Online, so this is no surprise to me. Once the Kelvin Lockbox became a thing, the door was opened and there was no reason to believe it would shut again.
I know people are split on this, and I respect that. Me personally, I love original and new Trek, I'm absolutely thrilled to see more Kelvin content coming to Star Trek Online. I'm really looking forward to that Admiral Uniform, now I can dress properly on the bridge of my sweet new Federation Intel Dreadnought.

It does.. funny thing is.. the Vengeance is so big, I can't really get a good shot of it that I can stretch into a sig banner. I'm working on it though.
Even if it isn't technically a Kelvin Timeline ship (whether it is or is not is dependent on someone's POV), the skin (I think) looks like it could be a definite "upgrade" to the K't'inga hull design. Even if the large guns were taken off the ship's frame, the hull looks better designed and the overall body of the ship looks more beefy.

Instead of more Kelvin stuff they should spend time on bringing Klingon and Romulan missions into the AOY playground. Just feels that like DR this AOY was half assed. Delta what a joke tiny tiny area and this is the home of the big bad borg and well there is really not much there.

I think the T-5 Temproal ship is damn close to that in many ways.
