How long do we have to make a Temporal Agent

I have only seen "limited time" but no exact date of how long we can make TA's.

5 weeks left to make the toon and level it to through the first arc (so become a recruit). After that no time limit to complete it.

If like Delta Recruits then you can still make the 23c character but they won't unlock the rewards for the account. They will still be able to claim account rewards like all the other characters. I probably will never make a normal Fed again though. Too bad we can't make a TOS era KDF or Rom which would have their own story to take them from TOS era to the post-TNG the game takes place in too.
you mean like they did with the delta recruit? no they wouldnt do THAT or would they O.o
In the creation, you should have a choice of Temporal Agent, Fed, KDF, or Rom. But if you got a Delta that might be an interesting bug where you chose one of the other three and it made a Delta for you. Or no bug. Enhancement for those who missed DR and they better hurry to make one. lol
Was a joke in reference to how when a temporal agent hits level 10 you get a "you are now a delta recruit" announcement.
In order to take full advantage of the AoY event your 23rd century toon must travel to the 25th century and then go through the dialogs / actions to obtain the temporal device which allows to search for those Temporal Probes scattered throughout the missions.
As long as you get the temporal device before Cryptic ends the event, then you can find those probes at your leisure and unlock the bonus the AoY event provides.
After the AoY event ends on approximately Aug. 17, 2016 players can still create a 23rd century Starfleet toon, but when you get to the 25th century that toon will not receive the temporal device and will not be able to unlock bonuses related to the AoY event.
nothing happens... you can still make a 23rd cent toon and play it like normal... at the end of the 1st arc you end up in the new time line and that's it... you do not get the temporal thingie and you just play the storyline like normal... nothing extra to collect/scan.
Ok. So, it looks like I might miss the TA recruitment event, but is there a confirmation, from a Dev, that TOS-toons will still be able to be made? I agree that it would be a waste of dev time if we can't after tonight. But as stated, the Dev Blogs have not been clear on this.
As long as you hit the 25c before the event ends, which is all of 6 short missions, youll get the temporal doodad and have until STO shuts down to complete your objectives.
Assuming you miss getting to the 25th Century with a TOS Starfleet Character, then you will still be able to create a TOS Starfleet character. You will just miss out on the various flavor text that is given through the probes and the various bonuses that Temporal Agent Recruits receive.
See, this here is called "the moral of the thread." Make an alt or two and go just past the first arc. Then finish that one out whenever you want to or when you want the extra resources (Dil) that TAs get.
