Mining Laser = Shield bypass & Hull Res debuff - The Final, final, final nail, in the PvP Coffin

Title says it all.

Like we really needed more gear with shield bypass and hull res debuff. Not impressed at all, and I officially retire from PvP.

What were they thinking giving yet ANOTHER bypass weapon to the cheesers.

And no relief whatsoever for players in the form of shields or armor plating that would negate the bypass effect and Phys damage.

shield bypass is already stack-able to 100%...
but yeah, dont know whos coming up with the gear and traits lately, but the creativity is really strong lol

It seems like the introduction of more armor pen, shield pen, and physical damage abilities isn't going to stop, I just don't understand why counter to these things aren't being released in equally large amounts. There's one counter to shield pen, and it's that console off the steamrunner and that's 12 whole seconds every 2 minutes and that doesn't even block all shield bypassing effects. I realize the counter to armor pen is to stack more damage resistance buffs towards the hull but as a pvp healer I already have 68% damage resistance base and it doesn't seem nearly enough. Then there's physical damage, I heard things that say "+All Damage Resistance" include Physical Damage, I looked at my Enhanced Alloys from the dilithium mine and they say "+All Energy and Kinetic Damage Resistance". I'm guessing they don't include Physical Damage, maybe these could be changed to "+All Damage Resistance"? These are just my biggest problems with the PvP part of the game (especially shield pen). I feel like there should be many different ways to counter this.

Who cares? No seriously, who still actually cares? PvP is dead. It's been dying a long winded death for years and it is now essentially dead.

Don't get worked up over it, just move on. There's nothing to be done about it.
