AOY a Expansion or a normal season

i fail to see how aoy can be described as a expansion from what i see is its a alternative start point to for a new charater i am disappointed that we only stay in the 23rd century for 11 levels then is back to the good old 25th Century what a waste i mean they made a tos style earth space dock for what 11 levels then you cant go back and vist it after that if its a expansion we should be able to go back and forth between 23rd and 25 Century delta rising was expansion in every sence of the word because we expanded in to the delta quadrent and can continue to go there as often as we like the new expansion should been in to the gamma quadrent this more of a normal season then expansion and it should have been advertised that way

To me it's little more than another episode, but of a higher quality, if lacking in content. And I don't mean in number of missions, but in things to do in general. I don't think it deserved the hype or the Temporal Pack.

Change the perspective to that of a new player or a returning player who wants to start anew, then maybe it's worth it for them. The rewards for finding the probes and completing the temporal tasks should certainly help them in getting caught up with the already extensive content. And they get an extra game start option. We only had two when the game launched. Now we have four. Three main factions, plus an alternate start for one of the mains.

So, in part I think the reception is a matter of perspective.​​
