Bull by the horns

Help me out here, please. I'm at the stage where you have to 'Shut the doors'. Problem is, what doors? All I see is the rear end of a Starship's Engineering hull and there are no triggers anywhere, just a yellow circle on my map that is mostly behind where the hull is and where I can't get to. What exactly is it I'm meant to be doing here?

Trigger is within the crashed ship's bay to the left I think.

Thanks, let me explain because it's working now. Last night there was no entrance. Just a closed door. Clearly the game was bugged. Logged on just now and the model is completely different with an open door. Sorry for confusing people, thanks again for the help.

Anyways, when you are stuck with a mission press 'V' (tricorder scanning) and that will point you at direction your objective is.
