Will the Lifetime Subscriber and Temporal pack be offered to PS4 players?

I am hoping so, as I am holding off until it's released on PS4 before taking the plunge!

    I think when PS4 get relased that you will be able to log in with you current pc acc, and by then temporal pack probably will be in C-store, but we will see after maintenance finish and expansion finally come out :) which should be for 4 hours if we are lucky :))

    The following have been confirmed by Steve Ricossa, Executive Producer of STO.

    - PC and consoles will have separate accounts.
    - There will be no ability to transfer an existing PC account over to the console.
    - When released in the Fall, STO console will be as of Season 11.5.
    - Agents of Yesterday will eventually be available for the console, but has not been confirmed as to when that will happen other than sometime in 2017.
    - Since the Temporal Pack is tied with the AoY expansion, it will be available when the expansion is released.


    Regarding the LTS... using Neverwinter as a benchmark, Cryptic will not be offering a LTS for STO console. A prominent assumption for why that is the case is that both Sony and Microsoft gets a cut of the monthly subscription if players decide if they want to subscribe to the game. From a business point of view, companies would rather get a steady stream income from monthly subs rather than a cut of the $300 LTS. A steady stream is generally more predictable and in the long run will generate more revenue versus a one-time larger sum of money.

    Why would they do a LT thing for a system thats gonna be canned in like 1-2 years anyway?

    Because there not going to be "canned" in 1-2 years.. the new Neo (ps4) and Scorpio (XBox One) are upgraded consoles that are coming out next year running anywhere from 4 teraflop (PS4) to 6 teraflop (Xbox One) GPU's current teraflops on the consoles are 1.2 teraflops as well as increased CPU speeds and memory. They are 100% backwards compatible as well as all new games will play on the new systems as well as oldersystems just that the new systems will have much higher graphic resolutions. So instead of creating a whole new system they are just upgrading the current ones with faster GPU's and CPU's so expect the current consoles to be around for atleast 5 more years if not more.
