Starfleet Photonic Science Officer Candidate

This is a minor irritant but I’m wondering if there is a fix. I love my Starfleet Photonic Science Officer Candidate* and am grateful that I can have him now wear the same uniform as the rest of my crew. I dislike however, that in selecting this option I lose his cool little holoemitter thing. I’ve tried changing him back but that model is gone.

Is there a fix?

That is one cool officer. I wonder if they'll ever make it available for something else.

As to what you can do? I don't know. Get in touch with a dev and see if they can fix it for you? That's all I can think of.

Have you tried dismissing him and reclaiming him from the Legacy Unlock tab in the C-store? Provided you got him the old fashioned way and not one of the one-off boxes (in which case do NOT dismiss him).

If not, these are the default options for his little holographic bits and pieces.

I'll give that a try. thanks. I might also be able to utilize your character creator picture. I think if I copy and paste it into the screenshot file, when I go to the tailor....hmmm. Hope is such a powerful tool.

It's the default settings. If you dismiss your officer and reclaim him, he should look exactly like what I just posted. Again, if you got him in the old school recruitment program, that is. If you got him in a one-time box, you can't reclaim him once dismissed and would have to do your best trying to decorate him manually.

But at least the above screenshot shows you exactly what pieces, and the color options for the holographic parts are pretty limited, so you can approximate it.​​

Apologies to all for reviving this old thread, but has anyone seen one of these officers offered for sale in the exchange lately? I've only been playing the game since it dropped for consoles and damn would I liked to somehow space magically get one of the photonic science officers?
