Fleet Peghqu Heavy Destroyer

Anyone flying this ship? Looks like you have to be a 1000 Day Veteran in order to get it. It looks great! I'm well shy of the 1000 days. The turn rate is even better than the Fleet K'tinga Retrofit.

    Because it's a destroyer not a battlecruiser.
    Good ship, it's battlecloak & 5 tac conlsoes make it quite deadly + it's disruptor lotus hurts like hell when buffed by tac consoles.
    Also there's the T6 verions called Duvqu' which you'll also get at 1000 days, the only reason the T5 isn't completely obsolte is because you can fly the T5U version at lvl 40. However the fleet T5 would be a catastrophal waste of credits & ship modules.

    Word of advice: if you're not actively playing on all 3 factions or at least plan to do so then don't.
    If you're just looking for a fast heavy hitter get one of the raptors, bops or the Kolasi Siege Destroyer because as nice as the vet ship(s) may be there's a considerable paywall in the way and most of the LTS stuff is "meh"-level fluff.

    I have the T6 Pilot Raptors already. Maybe I'll hold off. Thanks for the advice.

    I find the ship's tactical mode hideous, but the trait from the Tier 6 version complements the trait from the Martok flagship cruiser very nicely. Energy weapons make torpedoes hit harder, and torpedoes make energy weapons hit harder? Yes, please.
