Has ANYONE finished the Artifact Scavenger Hunt on Risa? Anyone??

Unlike ANY other Risa accolade chain, the Scavenger Hunt is driven by the RNG. Sadly, this means that if you're fortunate enough to get 19 of 20 items, you now have a 1:20 chance of getting the last item. There must be some fortunate souls out there who've finished it, so I'd like to know if there is any better way to complete the Hunt.

I know the dig sites well enough that I can get 5-6 'toons thru the complete hunt every cycle, despite the crappy directional indicator. If ayone has completed it, what is the reward for completion (I hope it's not just an accolade)?

I have. It took me weeks and a lot of pain but the RNG finally gave it to me.

And, as much as I hate to say it. There's a mission coming up in AoY that on Tribble has what seems like a very RNG-based accolade where you look at random artifact entries in a Starfleet Vault.

Took me a couple of hours but I finished it. You get the "Archaeologist" title.

While I appreciate that the Hunt can generate a lot more Favors than the other events, the use of the RNG beyond randomizing locations is just mean-spirited....and still, no joy for any of my 6 alts, despite running thru the hut 100's of times.

This is why I only "chase" accolades on one character.

I did it 2 times, one I got a reward. The next I never found a thing. Since then I moved on past Risa after I got what I went there for.

Thanks for showing what the reward is for doing it. A title that I will more likely care to use. Don't seem much to me. But it gives others something to do.

I finished it on my main earlier today. I will probably never ever touch that event again with any toon, just to avoid that missing-tooth feeling when I look at my accolades list (admittedly, I hardly ever do that). It took about 24 days, running it 3-6 times a day, and a big reason I'll be leaving Risa behind for a while once I get my Vorgon ship.

Still 2 away from accolade, and sick of doing it so many times. I was persistent cause at first it said 'Store Unlock' but found nothing in no stores. I also figured, it must be for some alternative to the Risa ship that comes with LtC temporal seating so we can demo it as all other prior ships, and considering all the ship parts in the accolade hinting about that being its purpose. Nope, no sign of anything. It also isn't fun as the locations are pre-set, and the worthless ferengi scanner is so unreliable and misleading.

I had more fun building sand castles as that was a beach-activity, unlike this hunt which is essentially just like flying high daily or horgahun'hogan'lol'nuts'birdegg hunt. Sand castles also had a PVP element in fighting for spots on the beach, and destroying other people's sand monuments, especially Fed ones as a KDF or Rom.

If Cryptic wants to fudge their metrics all they have to do is create a "item unlocked in store" fly by on the littlest things and see their numbers rocket sky high to please their chinese overlords.

And I'm only doing it on my Delta Recruit, could care lees beyond when she finishes it.

My new TOS Toon will only do it for the Favors.

Oh dear lord, I just got the image of a grinning Ferengi sitting back, watching out from a ship or station window, as "his" Tox Uthat reeked havoc upon some hapless star, with one or two beautiful women with absolutely great hands giving him Oo-mox all the while.​​

What about if you did it in a group...we know that works for missions with Tac/Eng/Sci accaoldes?

Yeah i finished it.. didnt take as long as i thought.. had it by the end of the second week doing a 3 or 4 a day here and there. Archaeologist title and an accolade.
