Short cuts

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
The menu that provides short cuts for devices, ship and BOFF abilities; can a config be saved? Every time I switch ships it messes everything up and I have to redo the entire menu before heading out so I'd love to know if there's a way to save the damn thing.

    Oh and another question (save me making a new thread). I Dry docked one of my ships, then accidently took it out because I clicked the wrong button. Now I can't put it back in. Is there some kind of delay on this?

    each ship remembers its own ability bar configuration - unless you drydock it as drydocking removes all customisations that has been made to a ship.

    because of ships having different boff layouts etc afaik there is no way to export/import ability bar configurations between classes - so every time you get new ship you'll need to resetup it, sorry

    EDIT: changed wording on last sentence to not be misleading - swapping between aleady owned an setup ships shoul not affect their respective ability bar settings - but switching to a whole new ship ill require you to setup it from a scratch

    It's not class, if I understand you correctly, it's ships. Ship A gets the ability bar set up how I want it. I switch to Ship B and do that. Then switch back to A and the bar is all messed up again with abilities all over the place. It's not saving my configuration once I switch out, then back into the ship. What I'm looking for is a way for that to be saved, if such a way exists. If it doesn't, the Dev's should really implement it because it discourages you from switching ships.

    If you save the ship loadout in space then the tray, boffs and doffs will also be saved.

    How do I do that? I don't see any option to save?

    You do this on the ship's status window. There will be a tab that says loadouts, IIRC.
