Risa Hoverboard race objects not visable

I have noticed that due to lag, various jumps and race obsticles
are not visable and hang up many racers...it also kills the fun.

Here is the problem, the jumps and such only zone in during a race.
Here is the fix, have the race objects there all the time.

Jumps are already there, no issues, no problems.

easy fix

You say the jumps are missing, but then you say they're there. What specific objects are you talking about? Any object in the world, including the jumps, are always present. Your computer won't render them until you get close enough, but there's no lag on that. That happens on YOUR video card. So even if you're getting 1 fps, the second those things are in view, they will show up.

But the powerboard course only appears while the race is active. Thanks to the issues with server-side performance seemingly related to the artifact hunt, sometimes these objects aren't switching states properly. I've seen it myself where some of the ramps don't switch active and are not available for use during the race.

The ground and many other objects disappeared but the interaction geometry is still there. I can't SEE them, but I can touch them.

Hmm . . . I can understand the objects that are set up to turn on and off getting out of sync. I have no idea how/why the water (which isn't triggered on anything) would do so.

You might have multiple issues. I understand the course items not enabling properly, but the island objects that are there all the time shouldn't be dropping out. You may have a graphics card issue that is just compounded during the race course.

there seems to be some sort of priority for it as it's very consistent what gets drawn and what doesn't... IF it happens, it doesn't always.
