Hear, People of the Empire!
I am Lakora, daughter of Kamor, Head of House Dok'Marr, Commander of the I.K.S. Var'cha. I stand before you, in this place of honor, not to boast of my own. I am here to honor you, the People of the Empire. I would honor you, for all the that you do for the Empire, with the truth the High Council does not wish you to know. As you know, the Empire has formed an alliance with the Federation and the Romulan Republic, this is common knowledge. What they don not want you to know, is that behind this alliance, the High Council is selling out the Empire to the Federation! They are not fighting over what is best for the Empire. They are fighting, like a bunch of well trained targs, over who gets the biggest and best scraps that the Federation tosses to them. Chancellor Jm'pok and the High Council would sell out OUR HONOR and OUR EMPIRE, like the Tal Shiar sells out its own people. And while they fight over who gets the best scraps, they leave us to deal with an Empire that is crumbling around us. There are those of us that would honor and support the Empire, would see it returned to it former glory, and we are doing everything that we can to keep the Empire running. But we are few.
Before I continue, take a moment to look around, Citizen and Warrior alike, and ask yourself, "Are you willing to give up your very way of life?"
Because this is what would happen if the Empire became a part of the Federation. Some of you are thinking that it may not be a bad thing. Let me remind you, from slave to emperor, we are all afforded the same things. For the citizens, thinking that you have no way to improve your life within the Empire. You, like every warrior here, have the right to challenge another to Honorable Combat. We are not forcing you in to your lot in life. YOU can easily improve it, in the same manner as any warrior. You have YOUR choice, live as you are or risk your life to improve it. In both cases there is honor. For those of you that do not choose to be warriors, hold your head high with honor, the Empire would not run without you. YOU are the Heart of the Empire. The warriors are the Blood of the Empire. And we all know that if the Heart stops beating, the blood stops flowing. We are the Heart and the Blood of the Empire, not the High Council! Without us there would be no Empire!
Now, I want you, to take what I have told you here and spread it across the Empire. Then, I ask that you think long and hard about the future of the Empire. Do you support the High Council and their decision to sell the Empire to the Federation? Or would you stand with honor in support of those of us who would see the Empire restored to its former glory? The choice is yours! As for me, I will stand for the Empire, now and forever!

There are some in the Republic (and a few in the Star Empire) that would stand beside you. Making it KDF would still open it up to Klingon allied Romulans/Remans.

I know.. but right now I'm still trying to figure the foundry out. That thing is a bit confuzzling.

Right now it's a simple go in and read the speech, takes a few minutes at most. I'm thinking of maybe adding some running around First City and talk to people and get their thoughts on it. Though I could leave it as is and make my next one the run around First City.
