Countdown plus The Usual in Summer Event

As per the usual with the seasonal events, got on this morning to find it extremely laggy to the point of disconnecting and eventually gave up.

But also noticed one other thing: I could do the flier quest, but there was no countdown or other indicator telling me that I would not be getting the reputation mark for it. All I got were tokens. I figured this was a new thing and is a good idea, but where is the countdown for doing the flier for the reputation again?

And there it is, lag so bad now that I can't do anything but chat. Wheee! See you after the emergency reboot that inevitably comes with each event.

The lag made me give up on the event. I did have loads of eggs that I tried to hatch but the time-gating in addition to the lag left me with so many birds that I never got to sell for reputation points that I am considering never going to the Risa event again. Also the change in currency each year that they started with really makes me angry.
