Ferengi ships...

I am sorry for opening a thread to "cry", but having a Ferengi character and practically not being able to have a Ferengi ship just hurts :((( I mean, D'Kora is too expensive for regular players (except if you are really extremely lucky and get it in a lock box without spending a whole fortune on keys), and it is impossible to obtain Nandi right now, because some of us started to play the game after the event in which it was a reward was already over.
And the reason that I complain is because Ferengi are one of the most important races in Star Trek, and while you can easily have some ships from not so important races from Delta Quadrant, or Mirror universe, possessing a Ferengi ship is almost impossible. Wouldn't it be a nice gesture to create some T5 Ferengi ship for those who can't afford D'Kora and Nandi??

    I'd just bide my time if I were you, They'll get around to adding more alien ships and the Ferengi ships are very popular.
    The rumor-mill has it They are already working on one, though I haven't actually seen any proof of that yet.

    I had that problem as well. I used a Risian Corvette and gold-plated it, she is the "Miser's Fortune". I ended up using the Breen dreadnought and used alot of Borg visuals, she is called "The Dirty Name". I like to imagine that my Ferengi captain is the kind of businessman that takes the yacht out for pleasure and the dreadnought for business.

    If you use your imagination then I suppose any ship could go with the Ferengi as he would have bought or stole the ship. If Cryptic gives us another ferengi ship, I'll get it but until then I can make do with what I have.

    You can always pick up one of the cheapy Mirror Universe ships off the Exchange and play that as a Ferengi Merchant who discovered it floating in some distant part of the universe.

    I do wish They would give us a less expensive version of a Freighter though.

    Hehe, yes, I also "imagine" that my Ferengi bought an alien ship :D But it's still just an imaginative recompensation for a real thing...

    And when it comes to those rumors, they certainly raise some hopes... any more details anyone?

    I did read somewhere they may be a new ferengi ship for the summer event, would be cool.

    Cryptic already leaked Vorgon escort via the reclaim store on Tribble, so that's very likely the Summer Event ship. I'm guessing they're moving to a new faction's ship for each Summer Event. Adds to 'exclusivity' I guess.
