Career-Specific MK IV Kit Reward pack not openable by TOS character

Task Force Hippocrates rewards a Career-Specific MK IV Kit Reward pack ... it can't be opened by a TOS Engineer. When you attempt to use it you get a slide-on message: "Unable to use Career-Specific MK IV Reward Kit. No rewards generated."

So ... the bug that's stopping TOS characters from doing career specific side tasks appears to also be preventing career specific rewards as well ... that could be a biggie if it effects lock-box rewards as well (don't have any to test that tho.)

This makes me wonder if eng and tac characters are actually considered separate races somewhere deep inside the game code...

I have that bug as well. Not only this, but the Admiral won't promote me to Commander, so no new ship or anything.

Yep, same here, Vulcan TAC. No joy on opening, and you can't discard it either. Also, unable to complete the Bones mission at all. Had to drop it, as was unable to help the good doctor with his Devidian afflicted patients. Never given the option.
