TOS transporter effect issues

I'm not referring to wrong beam effects in TOS mission cutscenes, because I assume those will be fixed. I am, instead, talking about issues with the transporter animation when manually beaming up or down.

Namely:
  • On TOS-era maps (TOS ESD, certain TOS mission maps), when transferring from ground to space or vice versa, the beaming animation simply doesn't play; instead, the character transfers immediately. (Actually, can we get this for transferring to and from our ship interiors? Heh.)
  • When beaming up, my TOS character taps her chest (shouldn't she flip out a communicator?), and then... just stands there, for about two seconds, before the beam effect actually starts. Then, before she even really has a chance to start disappearing, the scene simply cuts off.
  • When beaming down, the effect tends to last a much longer time than necessary, allowing me to move around long before it's complete.
  • Sometimes, when beaming down, the shimmer effect fades out with my character still invisible, and then, after what feels like about a second, she just suddenly appears. (I've seen this happen several times, but I've also seen the animation work just fine several times, so I'm really not sure what's causing the discrepancy.)

I think it's because they don't have the communicator emote done yet.

Adding to this: My android BOff uses 25th century Beam effects (I was able to purchase her after getting to the 25th century ESD). The rest of my crew that I got as part of the TOS arc uses the correct beam effects.

Pretty sure that's the same problem as currently exists with marauding/ally/etc. boffs: their transporter effects are tied to their individual factions, not to the player's faction or the ship's faction. So, for example, when my Fed main beams down to New Romulus with her Orion marauding boff, I see two different transporter effects: Fed on my character, and KDF on the Orion. The same sort of thing happens with my Roms and their allied boffs.

I had really, dearly hoped that, with this new f(r)action and its new transporter effect, Cryptic would take the opportunity to fix this long-standing annoyance. I guess not. :( In fact, it's going to be more noticeable than ever now.

... I really hope there's a way to purchase boffs from TOS ESD ... cause I want my TOS character to have an all human, TOS crew ...

I've also encountered some problems with the TOS beaming effect once I was in the 25th Century map. I decided to run the Azura mission and found that the TOS beaming effect seemed either very short (as when beaming over to the Azura) or lasted too long (beaming back in to my ship) as well as being able to move while the effect was running and being invisible for a couple of seconds after the TOS transport animation finished. The animation worked fine when beaming down to Starfleet Academy to meet with Fera for my first DOffs.

Although the transporter effect has been mentioned in today's patch notes (as if it was newly added, which it wasn't), none of the issues mentioned in this thread have been addressed.
