Apologies for starting over. The original poll was just too flawed, resulting in too much "other" noise. Again, please don't vote "Other" to ask for KDF or Rom ships. This poll is strictly Federation voting. We need to do separate polls for KDF and Rom.
Running tally of write-in votes (first named vote if multiple were given):
Excalibur : 5
Nebula: 6
Miranda: 3
Atrox: 1
Luna: 2
I'm sorry to ask our whole other thread to be deleted, guys, but I don't think it was doing your opinions any justice on the voting count. I needed to add Nova and Assault Cruiser, at least. I've also made it anonymous since somebody asked.
Registering my Other protest vote because Fed still seems to get a lot of preference in these things.
Heh. I suppose I can respect that. I have a couple KDF toons and certainly enjoy them. Don't suppose you wanna put up a KDF poll? Or am I gonna have to do it later?
They were immediately on my mind, but I don't really spend enough time myself getting to know all of the T2-T5 KDF/Rom ships that I feel qualified to build even close a decent voting list. That alone is why I didn't immediately do so. And, like I said, if nobody else does so, I'll do it myself anyway.
Excalibur, Sovereign, Miranda, and NX are the only ones left that I'm willing to spend any money on.
Excalibur: it is quite simply the most beautiful ship I've seen since the Sovereign (again, I did not mention my least favorite Enterprise, the Constitution, here, I said Excalibur class)
Sovereign: my favorite Enterprise, but it's also pretty much gaurunteed to get released soon, so I voted other for the less likely ships that I want
Miranda: awesome ship, and was still heavily used during the dominion war ... hopefully a T6 version would come with a reskin of the more modern version without the ugly secondary hull
NX: second favorite Enterprise. How would I be able to stand up to modern ships in an NX you ask? Well, the answer is "cause I've got faith, of the heart ..." Yes I know the NX is the last ship that would ever get an endgame refit of any kind, and I'm OK with settling for the Akira, but it doesn't change the fact that I would purchase a T6 NX class in an instant. My wallet would break the sound barrier on its way out of my pocket, same with the Excalibur.

Who knows, when we get the JJ-verse stuff, you might be able to use the Excalibur skin.

Well, @thekodanarmada#7342 , if it is on YOUR agenda, why don't YOU start your own poll?
One problem with including the 3 factions together is, IIRC, there is a limit to the number of possible answers, so it'll have to be a seperate thread to get likely answers in.
It isn't like the OP making a poll would actually influence the Devs in what ship to release anyways, it's really a matter of curiosity. The decision of which ship to release next is, I'm sure, already decided, and based on metrics of which ships are already in use at the lower levels. Not some poll.
Oh, and Patrol Escort. I just recently pulled my T5 PE out for an alt, and it's a BLAST. Literally.

Honestly, if I had to guess the next couple T6 re-releases, I would guess:
1) Sovereign and Vor'cha (maybe something for roms)
2) Ambassador and Kamarag (maybe something for roms)
3) star cruiser / whale ship and K't'inga (maybe something for roms)

To remind people of what I said in the thread that's gone away...
Since the "Science Vessels" are commonly nicknamed and classified as "Light Cruisers", applying the "can mount DHCs at a slight cost of hull" conversion = "Light Battlecruiser".
And "Battlecruisers" are the province of the KDF.
So, a "Vesta refit" would also be quite... appropriate for a KDF and RR "conversion" of "remove a touch more hull and give cloak"...
So there you go - Vesta for T6, with "new" KDF and RR variant(s) to fill the "holes" in their Science ship lineup over the Dyson with it's transformational gimmick and reliance on protonic polaron weaponry...
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

As nice as that would be (and it would be), you forgot a critical step for making ships. The design part. The real reason behind the cost of the ships. (Stats take maybe a day, designing takes weeks I'm guessing, maybe more.)

I am probably in the few who like the Star Cruiser/Mirror Assault Cruiser and would love for a Teir6 of it and Tier6 Fleet. I love the designs of the mix and match parts and its not fair it has no access to Type 6 yet Patrol Escort does. I think they honestly should have done all 3 Star Cruiser, Deep Space Science Vessel and Patrol Escort when they made that C-Store Patrol Escort before Delta Rising.
Though if they did a Heavy Cruiser I could use the Constellation parts on it and that alone would please the TRIBBLE out of me. I do love my Rhode Island though too. This is so hard.
I'm still holding out for the Niagara. And still believe that pretty much every ship should have a T6 variant so you can fly what you want.
But of the ones actually listed on the poll, probably the Vesta. Just on base hulls, you have 8 T6 options for Cruiser, 6 for Escorts and 3 for Science. Including all the different variations and fleet versions it comes out to 17 Cruisers, 14 Escorts, and... 6 Science options.
Of the selections offered, I chose Star Cruiser. Simply due to the fact that those original variants - at the time the game was new - were the largest vessels offered by the late 24th early 25th century Starfleet. They were rather impressive back in the day and I think they should be revisited with end game capabilities.

Voted for the Vulcan ship, cause it's nice. But I'd be happy with a Sovvy, but we really don't 'need' it with the other cruisers that came out recently.
Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

They've been designing new variants for each of these retro-re-refits (or whatever they're up to) anyway - Andromeda, Pathfinder, Venture, Yamato just to name a handful - so what's stopping them "designing" a whole new concept rather than "kitbashing" existing designs into a "25th century" look?

I dunno, like 90% of the Federation T5+ lineup consists of variations of the Defiant, Galaxy, Intrepid or Sovereign, it doesn't seem like the design process is all that intensive.

Based mostly off of other discussions recently, mainly one this morning that included mention of an "official" interest in what everybody most wanted to see. Nebula has gotten a few votes as "Other" so far. I can't bring myself to recreate the Poll again just for that, but I can try to go through later and specifically count up the called out Nebula votes and add them as a note to the poll text. That seem fair?

T6 Nova, because I like the aesthetics. It's such a cute ship.
