    Sol Blockade (Prime)

Battle Group Scythe took up position and cut off shipping routes into Sol. "Remember the rules of engagement, do not fire unless fired on first and if you have to fight, disable their ships. Let's do this in a manner that does not kill, last thing we need is a propaganda victory for them" ordered Valdez to the fleet. "Fleet has responded, orders are understood" reported Nydon. "Excellent, ETA of Battle Fleet Omega?" asked Valdez. "They'll arrive in three days" answered Nydon. "Good, prepare a set of drones and make sure their holoskins are of merchant ships, Cadet Valdez, get into their computer systems and gather any intelligence on Ford's movements. Make sure our allies get get that intel when they arrive" replied Valdez. "Sir" chorused Nydon and Trianna (yellow). "Our job is to stop and search every ship attempting to enter or leave Sol, food and medical shipments will be let through after they have been searched. Everything else is contraband" ordered Valdez to the fleet.

Drones were then launched and activated their holographic skins, they entered Sol in disguise and bypassed the defenses before darting into Earth's orbit. They then started their scans, back aboard the Harbinger, the data was coming in fast as Undine and Changlings were eliminated from the suspect list. "Run a quantum scan of the presidential residence, let's eliminate all possibilities" ordered Valdez. The drones did their scans and soon an unusual quantum signature appeared on the drone sensor logs. "Send a secure signal to Admiral Janeway, it seems that the president has been replaced by a mirror version" ordered Valdez as his concerns were confirmed. "It seems that he's increased his cyber defenses, multiple firewalls and layers of encryption, it may take me a while to get past them" reported Trianna (yellow). "Keep at it, be creative" replied Valdez. "Roger that Dad" answered Trianna (yellow).

Meanwhile, the I.S.S. Enteri'ls had been shadowing the Blockade fleet and had also run their own scans of Sol, they got the same findings, "At least we know where our traitor is" commented Ghost. "We don't move until we are ordered to, until then we're gathering intel" replied Shade. "Those ships and drones, I know those ships" answered Ghost. "Hmm?" asked Shade. "That's dad's fleet which means that my sister is not far" answered Ghost. "Potential ally?" asked Shade. "Well they're after the same thing we are, you and dad need to be in the same room and talking" answered Ghost. "One aide each?" asked Shade. "On neutral ground" answered Ghost. "Can he keep a secret?" asked Shade. "He can and I trust him" answered Ghost. "It's time to arrange a meeting, tell him one aide each" ordered Shade. "Ma'am, it will be nice teaming up with my sister, don't worry, she's not a threat to the empire. She has a view that she really does not care about the Empire, she's been away from it for the last two years and has never looked back" answered Ghost. "Your father is going to have a shock when he sees you" replied Shade smirking. "Should be interesting" answered Ghost.

Back aboard the Harbinger, Valdez got a message which said "We have a common enemy, we need to talk somewhere neutral. Bring one aide only." "You suspect a trap?" asked Trianna (yellow). "50/50 on that" answered Valdez.

*I'm testing MW4 on Sapphire* (Raven you can use Sapphire as long as you give me credit.)
      *Sapph's POV*
I'm in the Goneril's CIC with my Pokemon since we're making a few backup plans in case S31 and both Sito Thays decide to make another attempt on Amy's life. One of the Terran officers gives me a PADD with Section 31 passwords for their comm channels. I get into their comms without a sweat and listen to their conversations
"...kidnap that admiral's kid after we're done here..."
"...let's kill the First Lady and Empress..."
      "...the boss wants..."
I open a channel to Sealsa and say, "Admiral Sealsa, I need to get some information from a Franklin Drake about a plot to kidnap or assassinate my kid. Where is he right now?"
"Sapph, Drake's not on the Murmansk. Unfortunately, he sent operatives to destabilize the Empire and Federation.
"Admiral, can I remain on your ship for the duration of this operation?"
"Yes Sapph. Regent Papela Lot sent me a few of her officers to help you foil the attempt on your daughter. In case you didn't know, I sent some of my ships to your homeworld so they'll be under your command."
"Thank you Sealsa. I need to get my fleet ready for an assault on Earth. I heard some info about a Michael Ford being the puppet master behind the rebellion."
"That's it! If we can capture Franklin Drake, I'll let you interrogate them first while Prime Ford deals with his Mirror counterpart."

Sealsa's helm officer plots a course for the Sol system in the prime reality. The Sovereign joins the blockade fleet led by Valdez. My ships join the Goneril as part of the plan. I connect my sensors to the drones and feed Amy afterwards. This time, Franklin Drake won't evade me. He will be an empty shell when I'm done with him.

      I.S.S. Moskva, Sol Blockade (prime)

Aboard the Moskva, Regent Mario Petrofski studied the blockade positions and ordered his forces to disguise their quantum signatures. The ships of Battle Fleet Omega then took up position on Battle Group Scythe's flanks as another Imperial task force under the I.S.S. Stadi jumped out of warp after changing their quantum signatures and took up position next to Battle Fleet Omega and cloaked. "Hail the lead ship of Battle Group Scythe" ordered Petrofski. "Regent" answered Sydulla, "You're on, channels has been secured." "RDW Harbinger, this is Regent Mario Petrofski of Terra. Your flank is covered" said Petrofski. "This is Star Commander Nathan Valdez, you've been expected. I trust that your troops are aware of the rules of engagement" answered Valdez.

"Anyone who ignores the rules of engagement will be executed on the spot" replied Petrofski. "We all have our ways of keeping our houses in order" answered Valdez. "At least we know where we stand, it's a start" replied Petrofski. "We have to learn to trust each other, rules of engagement are don't fire unless fired on first and shoot to disable. Any ships attempting to enter or leave Sol will be stopped and searched, food and medical supplies will be allowed through but everything else is contraband" answered Valdez. "There's been too much death caused by these people, they must be dealt with" replied Petrofski. "I've heard, my daughters watch INN" answered Valdez. "We need to talk, Regent Lot has requested that she speaks with you. I.S.S. Stadi, one hour, one aide each" replied Petrofski. "I want guarantees that this is not a trap" answered Valdez. "Regent Lot considers this a diplomatic matter" replied Petrofski. "Tell the Regent that I will be there" answered Valdez. "The Regent will hold you to that" replied Petrofski and the screen went blank.

An hour later, Valdez and Trianna (yellow) transported over after confirming with the Star Union government that the Imperial's motives were honest. "Mr Valdez, Anna. Thank you for agreeing to talk" said Papela greeting them both. "Regent, thank you for your assistance in this matter" answered Valdez. "Regent" said Trianna (yellow) as she bowed in respect. Papela then escorted them both to the conference room. "Lights" ordered Papela, the lights came on and sat in two chairs were Shade and Trianna (red). Regent Petrofski and Captain Joanna Dawson had already arrived a few minutes earlier. "Let's get this meeting in order" said Papela as everyone sat down. "Captain Dawson, meet Mr Valdez" said Papela. "She looks identical to Mom" commented Trianna (yellow). "Be professional" answered Valdez. "Sir" replied Trianna (yellow). "Regent Lot felt that a familiar face would make things simpler, Mr Valdez, it's a pleasure to meet you" answered Captain Dawson. "Sounds like Mom too" commented Trianna (red). "Captain Dawson, to clear up any confusion, I'm married to your counterpart" said Valdez to Captain Dawson. "That's why I was asked to be at this meeting" answered Captain Dawson.

"Mr Valdez, I've been authorized to share mission critical intel. Captain Roy and Col Bray here have confirmed that a wanted fugitive is hiding on Earth" said Papela. "Since we have to trust each other, I've been authorized to do the same. Our scans also confirmed that a Terran is posing as the president" answered Valdez sharing the scan data with Papela. "Confirmed by two separate sources" commented Papela as she compared the results from the Enteri'ls and Drones. "Ford has not been working alone" said Petrofski handing Valdez a PADD. "How recent is this?" asked Valdez. "48 hours" answered Trianna (red). "This stinks of Section 31, Franklin Drake has also been confirmed to be working for Ford" said Shade. "Then we must tread very carefully, we've got families we have to protect and Section 31 will go to great lengths to shut people up, that includes targeting of families" answered Valdez.

        I.S.S. Stadi, Sol Blockade (Prime)

"They've already tried to kill my grand children, they killed my counterpart and nearly killed me" replied Papela. "They've also backed a rebellion which killed millions, this is a report from Caleb IV" said Petrofski as he passed a PADD over to Valdez. "I see, 1193 innocent people murdered. They have a lot to answer for" replied Valdez. "One of the survivors was a nine year old Bajoran child, most of her family were in the grave pit" answered Petrofski. "They've crossed the line" replied Valdez as he contained his anger after he read the reports of the Caleb IV survivors. "Dad, this report might be of interest, it's a intercepted Section 31 transmission from 2411" said Trianna (red) as she passed another PADD over to Valdez. After reading the report, Valdez's mood changed from totally calm to anger, "Where's Drake?" he asked.

"Keeping a low profile, he and Admiral Nakamura sent you into the Empire with orders to attack the Imperial military. It seems that the fugitive you were hunting was working with them, what's worse is that Regent Lot was manipulated by a traitor into murdering your late wife and crew to cover their tracks" answered Shade. "Drake's mine, Nakamura too" replied Valdez. "Anna, we also found this aboard the Astute. You better open it" said Trianna (red) passing her sister a box. When Trianna (yellow) opened it, her mood changed, "So my father was working for them" she commented afterwards as a black Section 31 badge bearing her father's name and rank were engraved into the back of it, "the b******, that viper was a wolf in sheep's clothing the whole time" she said afterwards. "What's his link to Ford?" asked Valdez. "Ford recruited him, but thankfully he's no longer with us. He had an accident with a Taipan" answered Trianna (red) smirking.

"Good riddance" commented Trianna (yellow). "Remember, be professional" answered Valdez. "Sir" replied Trianna (yellow). "Ford needs to be removed, however, his security is watertight" said Valdez. "He knows how to keep me out, his cyber security is watertight" answered Trianna (red). "Same on my end" replied Trianna (yellow). "We're going to need access to his computer" said Captain Dawson. "Which is in the most secure building on Earth" answered Shade. "A direct assault would be out of the question, the risk of collateral damage is too high" replied Valdez. "We need someone who knows the building layout and grounds, no fortress is truly invincible" answered Trianna (red). "Mr Valdez, those drones of yours. Can you make it look like we're at war?" asked Papela. "That can be arranged, all Ford will see is a Federation ship engaging an Imperial ship" answered Valdez as he put a secure call through to Nydon to launch two drones. The Drones adapted their disguises and entered Sol, they then started dogfighting each other in Earth's orbit in order to attract Ford's attention. "That should keep Ford busy" said Papela as recon teams moved into position and began scouting out the President's residence. Papela then called an end to the meeting and everyone returned to their ships.

Star Dreadnought Harbinger, Sol Blockade (Prime)

"We have the Terrans onside" said Valdez to Nydon. "Enemy of my enemy?" asked Nydon. "It is, one of necessity" answered Valdez. "Judging by your mood, the meeting went well" asked Nydon. "Very productive, Ford is on Earth. It's been confirmed by two separate source" answered Valdez. "Cadet, you seem to be in foul mood" commented Nydon. "Turns out my father was working for the enemy the whole time before he was finally caught and executed, it's official, I'm the daughter of a traitor" answered Trianna (yellow). "Anna, go down to the gym and take that anger out on a punching bag. You'll feel better afterwards" said Valdez. "Yes Dad" answered Trianna (yellow). "Go on, you're off duty until you've calmed down" ordered Valdez. "Dad, I'm fine" answered Trianna (yellow). "No you are not, I've seen that look before from you" replied Valdez. "That was different" answered Trianna (yellow).

"You look like you want to hurt someone, I understand" replied Valdez. "The same can be said of you" answered Trianna (yellow). "You got me there" replied Valdez. "Can't fool a telepath" answered Trianna (yellow). "Nydon, make sure this new intel gets to the Alliance, make sure the High Protector gets a copy, you have the conn" said Valdez. "You're no good when emotionally compromised, take some time off to calm down" answered Nydon. "Thank you for your Council" replied Valdez as he and Trianna (yellow) gave Nydon a salute and left for the gym. Later in the gym, Valdez set a punching bag up and told Trianna (yellow) to focus her temper on the bag. "Dad, I'm fine" answered Trianna (yellow). "Don't argue, vent that temper of yours on this bag" replied Valdez as he set another punching bag up. "But Dad...." protested Trianna (yellow) before she was cut off by a "cool that temper" from Valdez. "How do you keep control?" asked Trianna (yellow). "It's called developing a thick skin, I was angry at Regent Lot but at the end of the day, we made our peace because holding onto a grudge is unhealthy" answered Valdez. "My father was a traitor, how do you think that makes me feel?" asked Trianna (yellow).

"I cannot answer that, that's up to you to deal with" answered Valdez as he put a chain of punches into a punching bag. "I may have to speak to my sister when I see her next" replied Trianna (yellow) as she got a combo of punches and kicks into her punching bag. "You've been training" commented Valdez. "Jem'Hadar are good teachers" answered Trianna (yellow). "Well they're are impressed by your tenacity, three rounds in their training arena, I'm impressed" replied Valdez. "I just want to hurt someone so badly" answered Trianna (yellow) as she sent the punching bag flying backwards. "That is some temper, you have issues you have to deal with" replied Valdez. "You speaking as my commanding officer or as my Dad?" asked Trianna (yellow). "As your Dad" answered Valdez. "Fair enough" replied Trianna (yellow) as she slammed her fists into the punching bag. "I don't want to see you go off the rails, deep down you are a sensitive young woman who's been repressed for years in a highly militarized society. You've made improvements but your temper often puts that in jeopardy, I want to see you flourish and to better yourself as a person" answered Valdez. "I know, my father wanted me to be a soldier and nothing more. I resisted that even down to multiple boothing sessions because I would not be molded how my father wanted" replied Trianna (yellow). "You are going to speak with a counselor, you have issues that could get in the way. Sometimes, tough love is required and I'm ordering you to get help to deal with your issues" answered Valdez.

"Yes Dad, thanks for the talk and the exercise" replied Trianna (yellow). "Go and get cleaned up" answered Valdez. "Dad, you're a good man. Don't let your anger corrupt you" replied Trianna (yellow) before she left for her quarters.

            Earth (Prime)

One of Valdez's recon teams had managed to get within the grounds of the president's residence undetected and soon they were reporting back that members of the I.S.S. Constellation's crew had been sighted. Acting on this new intel, Valdez authorized a prisoner snatch to his troops. Under the cover of darkness, a team of Jem'Hadar moved in and woke up Cmdr Djetta before hitting her with a rifle butt and transporting out to a cloaked drone. The Drone then moved back to the blockade and Djetta was transported over to the Harbinger. The Jem'Hadar dragged her off the transporter pad. In the Harbinger's brig, Djetta came too and found herself in a cell. "I am a Federation officer" protested Djetta. "Your quantum signature says otherwise, we're going to discuss Michael Ford" said Valdez as the lights came on.

"You will have to torture me, I will not betray my captain" answered Djetta. "That won't happen, you will be treated humanely" replied Valdez. "And you will gain nothing" answered Djetta. "We'll see, first things first, let's get that head wound treated" replied Valdez as his doctor came in and treated Djetta's head wound. "You're weak just like everyone else in this reality" said Djetta trying to provoke a reaction from Valdez. "I could easily hand you over to the Empire, cooperate and things will be easy" replied Valdez. "Micheal will notice I'm missing, what do you think he'll do?" asked Djetta. "He'll cross that line and when he does, he will be exposed" answered Valdez. "He will come after me" replied Djetta. "I'm counting on it" answered Valdez as he signaled his Reman guards to begin telepathic interrogations on Djetta, "Remans are telepathic, no matter how hard you try to hide information, you will fail. These Remans will find out every little detail and you will have no choice but to cooperate" he said afterwards. "You're a coward Pinkskin" answered Djetta, "you have to break me to get your information." "Not really, you've been injected with a drug that makes you tell the truth" replied Valdez as he left the brig and let his Remans begin their interrogation.

"Not only will you die, but so will your entire family" said Djetta trying to provoke Valdez as he was leaving. "Regent Lot will deal with you, in fact when I've finished with you, you will be handed over to the Empire for further interrogation and judgement" answered Valdez just before the door closed behind him. Afterwards, Valdez put a secure call through to Brea III and made arrangements for his family to be put under constant guard citing threats to them. On Brea III, the Valdez family were put under a constant Reman guard for their own safety. With that problem dealt with, Valdez could turn his attention by to questioning Djarra. In the Harbinger's brig, Valdez pulled up a seat and began asking questions. "I'll see you die first before I break" said Djetta. "You're in no position to make threats, you're my prisoner" answered Valdez. "Micheal will come and get me" replied Djetta. "You've become a liability to Ford, he would kill you to make sure you don't talk" answered Valdez. "I'm loyal to him" replied Djarra. "We'll see, as now you are my hostage and you won't be harmed" answered Valdez. "You pinkskins are all the same, weak and afraid to overstep your boundaries" replied Djarra.

"Or I just hand you over to the Empire, your choice" answered Valdez, "no you're going back. You will have no memory of this and things will be normal, by the way, thank you for your codes" before Djetta was mind wiped and put into an escape pod and launched back to Earth.

I did say awhile ago that things were planned to go a certain way.

              ISS Los Lobos-A

"Put her on the bed there," Naynta ordered pointing at the nearest station.
Ford placed the unconscious form there gently. The control cover slid over her. Naynta began the diagnosis program.
"If I hadn't taken an oath to do no harm, I'd kill those two b*tches myself," she said quietly. "Look what they've done to her."
"They made me watch," said Ford. "and I wouldn't stop you."
"This will take awhile. I'll give her something to block the pain. Meanwhile you should get looked at as well."
              "I'm fine."
"No marters allowed in here. You've been captive longer than she has."
              "There are others that need...Djetta?"
Ford saw his first officer having her hands attended to. He went over to her.
              "What happened?"
"It appears that during my walk through the mirror ship that I've broken most of the bones in my hands punching my way through it's crew," she explained." I regret nothing."
              "As long as you're fine."
"Thank you. Now you should let them check you over as well."
              "I'm fine. I..."
"With all due respect sir, I am so full of pain meds that I would not feel it as I punched you unconscious. Do not deprive me of that pleasure."
              "Alright. I will..."
"Make way! Your Empress requires your attention!"
              "Thay, they know their jobs."
"Which is to take care of you!"
"They will. Just give them a chance to respond. We just walked in."
              "Oh my..."
"I know how I must look Lolo..."
"This bed, over here now please."
"Thank you... Oh, hello Mr. President."
"Hello Empress. I hope you know..."
"I know you had nothing to do with this Michael."
              "I'm not convinced..."
              "Thay... "
"Alright. If you believe him then who did this?"
"Your version of me along with some people within my government."
              "Why?"
"Someone doesn't like us and they want a war."
              "Why?"
"A reason for one to invade the other," Thay said. "In the turmoil seize power and control over both."
"Well i'd love to see the look on their faces when i walk in on them."
"You can do that after you've recovered," Naynta interrupted. "Now both of you on those tables so we can check you out."
              "I..."
"Shut it. In here, I'm in charge. Now lie down or i sedate you both."
"I'd listen to her," Thay said. "I've seen that look before on the other Naynta's face. Nothing good happens afterwards."
"Very well," the Empress said. "But when this is over i want my body weight in hasperath waiting for me."
"I'll have it waiting for you," Thay said. "now you lay down while i take care of things."
Thay watched as they both lay down and the covers slid over them. She left sickbay to return to the bridge.
              She paused.
She put her her hand on her stomach.
Phantom pains? she thought. After all this time? I must be more stressed than i thought.
              She touched her badge.
"Attention all three Yarals. The Empress has returned and I want a special dinner for her tonight. Meet me in my quarters in an hour so we can discuss this."
She stopped as another pain hit her.
Maybe I should get this looked at...no. why do I need a reminder of that time? It's the last thing I need now.

              "Just lay still there ma'am."
"You don't have to be polite Naynta. It's been over three weeks since I had a shower. I know what I smell like."
"That's not the issue. There's minor temporal flux around you that I have to compensate for."
"Oh... They did try to reintegrate us. Fortunately Thay interrupted them before it could start."
"Not entirely." Paris said walking up.
              ".... What do you mean?"
"It did start. She stopped it before it went to far, but then that explosion and shockwave through everything in to chaos."
"But it stopped right after it happened."
"The Los Lobos extended it's temporal shields around the station," she explained. "That stopped the shockwave."
              "So that means..."
"As long as both of you are in the same universe, one of you has to be behind those shields or else...boom."
"As for what the reintegration did," Naynta explained. "I don't see anything different on the scan. You got very lucky."
              "In what way?
"At the worst, You could have switched bodies."
              "That would be a nightmare."
"Yes, her body is much more damaged than yours."
"Her pain was physical, mine was mental."
"I can tell. I can feel it coming off of you."
              "I'm sorry."
"Don't apologise for what they did to you. Just don't let it fester inside you. Lorrie's not the best consulor but she's better than nothing."
              "Yes doctor."
"I'm setting the dermal regenerator to run and giving you something to make you sleep."
              "I'd prefer to stay awake."
"You haven't had real sleep in weeks. Besides you'll heal better with rest."
              "I know..."
Naynta bent over and kissed her on the forehead.
"We need you. Not just the Empire, but all of us on board. Sleep now Ma'am."
              "As you wish my friend."
The Empress closed her eyes in peace for the first time in a long time.
"Will she be alright?" Paris asked.
"Give her time and lots of love and she'll be fine."
              "Good."
"It's the other one that worries me."
They walked over to the first lady's bed.
"I've never seen agonizer damage this severe before."
"I checked them out. Their ten times the power of the normal ones."
"I'd have those things rounded up and destroyed. Anyone who wants to use one should be subjected to what she was."
"So what can you do for her?"
"I'm trying to prevent her from having permanent nerve damage in her chest. She wouldn't be able to feel anything there."
              "Even I think that's horrible."
              "I know. But..."
              "What?"
"I have an idea. Stimulating tissue growth should promote nerve regeneration."
"So how are...no. you are going to do what I think you are."
"Why not? It'll help her regain feeling. Besides why should she be inferior to those animals that did this to her?"
"I think you just enjoy injecting people with things."
She drew up the two injections and administered them.
"How much did you give her?"
"The same I gave that witch."
"Ah... You do know that she already has quite a lot on top."
              "...oh my..."
"How do you plan to explain this?"
"Officially we'll say it's permanent swelling from the agonizers."
              "Really?"
"That's my story and I'm sticking to it. And so are you."
"And people say I have no morals."

              Hours later

The sensation of something on her head woke the Empress from her sleep. She opened her eyes to find Thay standing there stroking her head.
"I missed you so much," she said looking down at her.
"I missed you too. It was hard seeing your face as the one that was..."
Thay put a finger to her lips.
"I could never hurt you. I..."
She wanted to say something but couldn't find the words. She turned her attention to something else.
"Your poor hair. Look what they did to it."
"Well, you did want me to cut it."
              "I know...and I was wrong."
              "What?"
"It doesn't look good on you. I mean... I won't be able to pull on it to get your attention."
"So you want the braid back?"
"Yes... But not that ridiculous one you had before. It was too long. I think that's why I wanted to cut it off. Somewhere in the middle."
"Actually, that's what I was thinking about as well."
              "Really?"
              "Yeah, I..."
              Her stomach growled loudly.
              Thay smiled.
              "That's a good sign."
              Naynta came over.
"I heard that all the way across the room."
"Is she well enough so I can take her and feed her?"
"As long as she doesn't over do it. But the first sign of pain I want you back here."
The cover on the bed slid down and she sat up.
Thay helped her down, then winced in pain.
              "What's wrong?"
"I think I twisted funny when I jumped her," Thay said. "I'll be fine. We need to get you showered and fed."
"I'm all for that. I... Just a second."
She turned and saw Ford standing near the other bed stroking her hair as well.
"Michael, you should come with us and have something to eat. I'm sure there's something non-hasperath related that you could eat."
"Thank you. But I think your wife has plans for the night for you two."
              "Yes she does."
"Fine. But if you're still standing there in an hour I'm sending the guards to drag you away and make you eat."
              "Yes ma'am."

Thirty minutes later the plates were being cleared away.
"I can't believe you ate all of that," Thay commented amazed.
"Feeding us was not high on their list of priorities. Thank you girls."
              The wait staff bowed.
"We're just glad you're back ma'am," Yaral said. The others nodded in agreement.
"So is everyone else," Thay said. "In fact..."
She pulled out a PADD and handed it to her.
"Someone wants to talk to you about it."
"I'm not up for talking yet."
"Trust me. You'll want to take this call."
She took the PADD and press receive.
              "Mama!"
She blinked at in surprise then to wipe away the tears that wouldn't stop.
"Hello Pren. How's my little girl?"
              "Where you been?"
"I was busy with some bad people."
              "Your hair!"
"I had an accident. It'll grow back."
The little face on the screen fell.
              "Osha still sleeping."
              Layress felt her heart break.
              "How is she?"
"Ever since... She not wake up. One grandma went away to. When you come home Mama?"
Nothing in the past few weeks hurt more than that sad little face on the screen in front of her.
"Very soon. I'll be there very soon and I won't leave you alone again. I promise."
              "Love you Mama!"
              "Love you too!"
The screen went blank. She hugged it to her chest as if was actually her child.
The room was silent except her crying.
              "Lazy..."
Thay watched as Layress's hands shifted on the PADD, gripped it, and with a yell snapped it half.
              "Lazy...."
She dropped the two pieces and stood.
"Alert our forces and the media. I will address the Empire within the hour. Have a communication ship go to the prime universe as well. I want them to hear this as well. Tell Ford that I want him down here."
Thay had seen the expression on her face before. Just before someone died under her heels.
"You heard the Empress ladies. Get moving."

An hour later a single ship jumped in to orbit around Earth. Across three universes all communication channels were taken over. a figure appeared on all screens.
"Citizens of the Empire and the Alliance. I am Empress Layress of the Empire. As you can see, reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated. But not for lack of trying. Oh no. You tried very hard, killed and injured countless people but I'm still here. But you did manage to injure my daughter. And that was your biggest mistake ever. I have a message for you. Congratulations, you wanted me angry? I'm angry. You wanted to return the old brutal days of the Empire? We shall. But only directed at you. The innocent shall not be harm, but the guilty shall have no mercy. You may raise your voice against us, all have that right. But raise your hand against us and cause harm and you will die where you stand. I will exterminate you like the vermin you. No mercy. No prisoners. I will use every person, every ship, every torpedo, every weapon I have down to my own nails and teeth to end you. Do you hear me? I AM COMING FOR YOU ALL!"
              She paused.
"As for you in the Alliance, there are elements within you that have collaborated with them to set all of this in motion. If you doubt my word, perhaps you'll believe someone else."
She stepped aside and another figure stepped in.
"My name is Michael Ford. President Ford. I was abducted four weeks ago and held captive. That person that has been pretending to be me is my copy from the mirror universe. To the crew of the Constellation, he and Djetta are imposters. Seize them until I arrive. If you want proof, ask Captain Driagon of the Wyvern how much I owe him in poker game losses."

              USS Constellation
Mirror Ford watched himself on the screen.
"Well it was fun while it lasted," he mused.
"What do we now?" Djetta asked.
"We execute our exit strategy. Computer initiate auto destruct sequence. Set timer to one minute. No countermand. Authorization Ford Alpha one one three."
"First officer Djetta concurs. Authorization Beta four two one."
"Destruct sequence armed. Enter final code."
              "Zero zero destruct zero."
"Destruct sequence activated. Sixty seconds to detonation. Fifty nine, fifty eight,..."
Both pushed up their sleeves to reveal their transponders.
"Time to go," he said smiling.
He watched her push the button on hers.
"What the hell?" She screamed. "It's not working."
              "Pity that."
              He pressed his and disappeared.
              "YOU TRIBBLE!"
              "Forty nine, forty eight..."
The door flew open and people poured in.
              "Don't move!"
"Listen to me! The auto destruct is running we have forty seconds. You have to destroy the computer core! It's the only way to stop it!"
They didn't believe her until they heard the voice counting down. Panicked orders were given as the countdown relentlessly continued. With two seconds left all control systems on board shut as the computer was desintegrated under a volley of phaser fire.
"Where is he?" They demanded of the fake Djetta.
"If there's any Justice, he's somewhere with his groin phased into a wall."

"Good that's fake Ford dealt with" commented Valdez, "now for Drake and Nakamura." "President Ford on the line, securing channel now" reported Nydon. "Put him through" replied Valdez. "Nathan, you may dismantle your blockade" sad Ford. "Valdez to blockade forces, Earth is secured. Dismantle the blockade but be vigilant" ordered Valdez to Battle Group Scythe. The Imperial forces also dismantled their part of the blockade. "Thank you Nathan" answered Ford. "Where's Drake?" asked Valdez. "If I knew I'd be pointing to his hide nailed to that wall. I watched my wife be tortured on their orders. He has much to pay for" answered Ford via subspace. "He did what?" asked Valdez keeping his cool. "Drake is something best discussed in private, he's also wanted by the Imperials" answered Ford. "We need a secure location, somewhere we can talk securely" replied Valdez. "Agreed Nathan, you, me, the Regents and and the Empress need to be in the same room" answered Ford. "The empress pretty much hates me" replied Valdez. "Not you in particular, just your counterpart" answered Ford. "Oh that viper" replied Valdez.

"You have proof?" asked Ford. "Enough to warrant a manhunt" answered Valdez. "Mr President, this man's counterpart colluded in active treason with Drake, the Oudenarde crew paid with their lives due to Drake. This man's counterpart manipulated me into killing the Oudenarde crew just to cover their tracks" said Papela via subspace. "Drake also backed a rebellion which killed millions in two universes" added Regent Petrofski via subspace. After all the evidence was securely sent to Ford, he said "The empress will see this, thank you for bringing this to my attention. Maintain position and we'll come to you, Ford out." "See you then, how's Layress?" asked Valdez. "Recovering" answered Ford, "how's the family?" he asked afterwards. "They're fine" answered Valdez. "Nathan, take care. We'll speak in person when we get to your position, Ford out" replied Ford and the screen went blank.

"Regent Lot wishes to speak with you" reported Nydon. "Regent, how would your forces be up for a manhunt?" asked Valdez. "I'm in as are my forces. For too long, the Federation and Empire were enemies. Now we must be steadfast allies and never let anything like this happen again" answered Papela. "Agreed, the gloves are coming off" replied Valdez. "You want justice for your late wife and crew, I want justice for what they did to Imperial citizens. We have to be ruthless and show them no mercy" answered Papela. "My Jem'Hadar will be ready" replied Valdez. "May the gods have mercy for anyone who gets in our way" answered Papela. "Admiral Nakamura is also on my **** list, him and Drake set us both up" replied Valdez. "We're both angry, let them experience our fury" answered Papela. "We only move on the president and Empress's orders, until then we've been ordered to hold position until they get here" replied Valdez. "My ships already have the order, recall your recon units from Earth" answered Papela. "Consider it done" replied Valdez as he gave the signal. "We'll speak in person when they get here, Regent Lot out" answered Papela and the screen went blank.

Nathan Valdez was on a secure line home checking up, "Joanna, sorry I've not been able to contact you" he said apologetically. "Nathan, you do what you have to do, just come home safe with both of our girls" replied Joanna. "How's our little one doing?" asked Valdez. "Went for a scan and she's doing well, I know you miss us but duty calls" answered Joanna. "Does not make it any easier, how are the grand-kids?" asked Valdez. "Causing chaos, Teanna Jane is hyper again and the boys gave her a nickname" answered Joanna. "What have they nicknamed her?" asked Valdez. "Rick and Luke both agreed on TJ" answered Joanna. "Not exactly original" replied Valdez. "It does work, Ablim red misses his mom and Trianna has gone hormonal, her husband is twitching at the moment" answered Joanna. "I don't think he's recovered from the first time round" joked Valdez. "I heard that Dad" said Trianna (prime) followed by a "stop whimpering" to Ablim Snr.

"How are the girls?" asked Joanna. "Anna is with me, Trianna well I cannot say not only for our safety but hers" answered Valdez. "Fair enough" replied Joanna. "Grand-Dad" said Teanna Jane when she heard Valdez. "Someone here wants to talk to you" said Joanna. "Teanna Jane, have you been behaving?" asked Valdez. "Yeah" answered Teanna Jane. "Why don't I believe that?" asked Valdez. All he got was a smile as Teanna Jane tried grabbing at the screen. "Teanna Jane Zolat, what have I told you about trying to grab at things?" said Trianna (prime). "I think your Mom is mad, she went full name" said Valdez to his grand-daughter. "Mom mad" answered Teanna Jane. "Has grandma been spoiling you?" asked Valdez. "Yeah" answered Teanna Jane. "I let her try a chocolate cupcake, most of it is on her face" said Joanna smiling. "It nice" said Teanna Jane. "Too much is bad for you, I need to speak with your mom" replied Valdez. "Hey dad" said Trianna (prime). "Any news?" asked Valdez. "Still too early to tell, how's things at the front" replied Trianna (prime).

"Quiet for now, that's all I can say" answered Valdez. "Dad, totally crazy what happened with the President. If you have to go hunting, kick some *** in the process" replied Trianna (prime). "Yes ma'am" joked Valdez. "Less of the sarcasm dad, I better let you go. Little ones and bed time, time to get the little terrors cleaned up and in bed" answered Trianna (prime). "Little one, take it easy" replied Valdez. "I'm too old to be called little one" answered Trianna (prime). "Fair enough" replied Valdez. "Nathan, we'll leave you to concentrate on your duties, we'll speak when you and the girls get home" said Joanna. "All of you take care, Joanna, love you" answered Valdez. "Nathan, be the knight who fights with honor and protects those who cannot fight for themselves. Go kick some ***, Joanna out" replied Joanna and the screen went blank. "Dad, looks like mom has given you her blessing" said Trianna (yellow). "Anna, I need you to start breaking into Drake's computer network. I'll contact Regent Lot to ask your sister to do the same, hit his computer network from two fronts at the same time" answered Valdez. "Yes dad" replied Trianna (yellow).

                  RDW Harbinger, Sol Boundary (Prime)

Nathan Valdez put Operation Trojan Horse into operation, the idea was to gain access to Section 31 computers after Section 31 operatives were caught trying to flee Sol. After much interrogation, Valdez got the codes he was after and the information was shared with the Imperials who also were interrogating captured operatives. Operation Trojan Horse's objectives were to implant a worm into the Section 31 computers and track all communications and download any classified data on Section 31 operations in the prime universe, the Imperials were after data concerning Section 31 operations within the Terran Empire. At 0630 hours, Section 31's computers were hit by cyber attack as computer warfare operatives broke into the network and disabled the security. Getting in via a back door, the cyber assault implanted their worm and soon the data was being sent to the Harbinger and I.S.S. Enteri'ls.

"Two minutes until security is back online" reported Trianna (yellow) aboard Harbinger. "Worms installed, we should be able to listen in" reported Ghost aboard the I.S.S. Enteri'ls. "Activate the download" ordered Shade. "How are we on the download?" asked Valdez aboard Harbinger. "50%, we need another minute" answered Trianna (yellow). "Cyber-warfare teams, let's wrap this up fast" ordered Valdez. "Security is coming back online in 15 seconds, download at 100%" replied Trianna (yellow). "Have you left them a gift?" asked Valdez. "You'll see, disconnecting now" replied Trianna (yellow). After the cyber-attackers had disconnected, Section 31's computers started to go haywire as their systems were overrun by a series of nasty computer viruses. "A job well done" commented Valdez as the intel came in. Aboard the Stadi, Papela was reading the Section 31 logs as they were put to PADDs.

"Should take them some time to clean up the damage we've caused" joked Trianna (yellow) aboard the Harbinger. "Nicely done Cadet" said Nydon. "This was a hobby of mine, it was my calling card" replied Trianna (yellow). "She broke into my computer at age seven, still not sure how she did it" said Valdez to Nydon. "It shows creative thinking" replied Nydon. "She's good but she can get overconfident" answered Valdez. "I suggest putting her in charge of a cyber warfare team, see how she does in a leadership role" replied Nydon. "Promote her to Senior Cadet and start really testing her" answered Valdez. "She's earned it, now she'll have to get used to leading a team" replied Nydon. "Just because she's my daughter does not mean preferential treatment, be tough on her and push her to her limits" answered Valdez. "Sir" replied Nydon.

Aboard the I.S.S. Enteri'ls, Shade smirked at the intel coming in. "Well executed Ghost" said Shade. "Should take them weeks to clear out the damage we caused, best part is that they don't know that we can now listen in" answered Ghost. "The Empress will be pleased, Section 31 cannot hide. They have much to answer for" replied Shade. "I would love to see the look on Drake's face when he realizes his entire network has been compromised, sucks to be him" answered Ghost. "That it does" replied Shade as she petted her Taipan. "Coastal or inland Taipan?" asked Ghost. "Inland" answered Shade. "Beautiful creature" replied Ghost.

(Aboard ISS Goneril) Galatt, Sapph's nephew Orion D. Ketchum-Chew and "niece" Kiara are other names on S31's kill/kidnap list.

My recon teams get into one of S31's hidden bases below the Presidential palace in Paris. One of the Betazoid squadmates sends me a PADD containing intel on a plot to kidnap Amy and Orion for leverage against me. I read it and send all the data to my family and allies. Jerome beams into the CIC and cradles Amy after I let her out of my stomach. He says, "Sapph, I've some good news. I managed to capture the operatives responsible for the assassination/kidnapping plot. They're in the ship's brig. "
"Thank you love. I want answers and justice. Lead the way dear."
                    "Yes, my queen."

Jerome and I go to the Goneril's brig and see the captured operatives in the cells. He drags one of them and growls, "Who ordered the hits on our kids? If you don't answer, my mate here will rip it from your head."
"I won't betray my Lord you subhuman piece of trash!"
                    "Your choice. Sapph, BREAK HIM."

I walk to him and reach into his mind with a sharp psychic thrust. The operative's screams are heard throughout the ship, but I have all the information I need. He goes into a permanent vegatative state due to the severe mental stress. Jerome and I walk back to the CIC. I open a channel to the Regent and say, "Regent Lot, the 'Lord' who ordered the hit on my kids is the same one you and Mr. Valdez are after."
"Thank you Sapph. Let's find him so our children can grow up in a peaceful world."
"I'm with you Regent. Sapph out." I close the channel and spend some quality time with my mate.

                    RDW Harbinger (Prime)

"Dad, looks like we're going to London, a major Section 31 data repository is sited there" said Trianna (yellow). "Has the intel been confirmed by two sources?" asked Valdez. "By the Imperials as well" answered Trianna (yellow). "Prepare a ground strike, coordinate with with Federation forces. We're going to take that base" said Valdez to Nydon. "I'll prepare the Jem'Hadar" answered Nydon. "We'll be operating in a major population centre so make sure they understand to watch their fire, I need a drone scan of the location, above and below ground" ordered Valdez. "Sir" answered Nydon. "Senior Cadet Valdez, watch their coms, we need to know what they are doing" ordered Valdez to Trianna (yellow). "Yes dad, patching in now" reported Trianna (yellow).

Within a couple of hours, ground teams were being briefed on their target as Valdez suited up to lead the assault. "Dad, no need to worry about me" said Trianna (yellow) after she walked in wearing her armor and shouldering her plasma rifle. "Your job is to disable their security, you've got a squad of Remans to cover you. Obey their orders as you would mine or Nydon's" replied Valdez. "Not my first dance, dad" answered Trianna (yellow). "I know, just be careful" replied Valdez as they walked to the assault craft. In the shuttle bay, the troops all confirmed their orders and Operation Chastise began with "Time to go hunting" from Valdez. Once the troops were on their assault craft, the craft launched under cloak. Slipping through the Mars Defense perimeter, the assault groups then began covertly landing at sites around their objective. "Let's move, cyber warfare group disable their security" ordered Valdez. "Patching in, give me thirty seconds" reported Trianna (yellow). Federation forces now stormed into the Section 31 safe house and soon the building above ground was secured as the Jem'Hadar moved in followed by the cyber warfare group.

Using captured codes, they infiltrated the base below ground and opened fire on the Section 31 operatives. Section 31 were caught totally by surprise as their operatives were gunned down by the Jem'Hadar. The assault then secured the control room and the cyber warfare team began their sabotage operation. "Breaking into their database, I need time to finish this upload" reported Trianna (yellow). "Keep this room secure, make sure nothing gets through to our cyber warfare team" ordered Valdez to his Reman Shadow Guard. "They won't" answered the Reman officer in charge. "Good, let's start securing this base. Once this base has been secured, upload the contents of their computers to our fleet" ordered Valdez as reports came in of Section 31 operatives running in fear of the Jem'Hadar. The operatives soon found themselves in a trap as Federation MACOs dropped them. "Drake's not here" reported one of Valdez's ground commanders. "Take the intel, it's better than nothing" ordered Valdez. "Sir" answered Trianna (yellow) as she began uploading the database. "We've got ten minutes then we're leaving" replied Valdez. "Sir" chorused the ground teams. The Jem'Hadar then linked back up with the assault in the control room once the last Section 31 resistance had be subued. Ten minutes later, the assault was over and the underground base eliminated.

Valdez and his assault teams had secured vital intel and prisoners, "Return to the fleet, infect the computers and wrap this up" he oprdered afterwards. Once the computers were infected, the assault teams left leaving nothing behind. Back aboard the Harbinger, the prisoners were put into cells and the captured intel was analyzed. In the Harbinger's mess hall, Valdez said "Well done." "My first field operation, is it normal to be scared before going into action?" asked Trianna (yellow). "Anyone who says they are not scared before going into action is a fool or a damn liar. Being scared is perfectly normal, you learn to control it and focus on the task in hand" advised Valdez. "I was scared" answered Trianna (yellow). "I know but you did your job, that's what counts at the end of the day. Deep down you are scared but you never show it in front of the troops" replied Valdez. "What's hitting me the most is that I miss my Isoisa" answered Trianna (yellow). "I miss Joanna, it's hard being away from loved ones and it's hard for them too" replied Valdez. "But we must put that aside and concentrate" answered Trianna (yellow). "Exactly" replied Valdez. Later in the brig, Valdez woke up a Federation admiral, "Admiral Nakamura, we have to much to discuss. Something about your treason" he said afterwards

Battle Group Scythe had been reinforced with new crew, Nathan Valdez and Nydon inspected the new officers and enlisted and told them in no short order that each and every one of them do their jobs and follows the chain of command. They walked up the the line of new crew and soon Valdez stopped at one of them, "Mr Dawson, why are you here?" asked Valdez. "It was either this or one year in prison, mom told me that this time that she would not bail me out" answered Crewman Rick Dawson. "I have the charge list here, drunk and disorderly, use of false identification and criminal damage. Sounds like the judge threw the law book at you" replied Valdez. Crewman Dawson gulped when he realized who his commanding officer was and thoughT oh ****." "Nydon, keep an eye on this one. If he steps out of line, discipline him" said Valdez. "Mr Dawson, you will refer to your superior officers as sir or ma'am depending on gender. Step out of line and you will be snapped back so fast, you won't realize what century it is" said Nydon to Crewman Dawson. "Sir" gulped Crewman Dawson as Valdez handed out the new crew their assigned stations.

Afterwards, Crewman Dawson was heard complaining that he hated being told what to do. "Get used to it, you're with me for the next twelve months" said Valdez. "Mom decided to teach me a lesson, she could've at least bailed me out" complained Crewman Dawson. "I told you not to cause stress for your mother, you ignored that and now you must deal with the consequences. I have a year to turn you around, do your job and stick to the rules and it will a quick twelve months, be difficult and it will a slow twelve months" replied Valdez, "Nydon, dismiss them" he ordered afterwards. "Fall out and you will shown to your assigned quarters, today is your induction" ordered Nydon. "Sir" chorused the new crew.

Later that day, Valdez woke up his "guest" and got to work. "Why the betrayal?" he asked Nakamura. "That could have been avoided if you had joined us but you declined our offer, you had to be taught a lesson" answered Nakamura. "122,500 lives lost to you and Drake's treachery, one of those was my late wife. Because of you I've had to raise a daughter on my own for two years" replied Valdez. "They died in defense of the Federation" answered Nakamura. "You allowed Celes, Risa and Sol to be attacked by my counterpart. You gave me the order to attack Mirror Betazed and you colluded with a wanted war criminal. Why?" asked Valdez. "War had to happen, that's why. The Terran Empire is a threat to the Federation" answered Nakamura. "What about the abduction and torture of First Lady Heath Layress?" She is a Federation citizen and you threw her under the shuttle like so many others you betrayed" asked Valdez.

"She's a temporal abomination, her other self is the Empress of the Terran Empire. They have to die along with those abominations she calls her children" answered Nakamura. "You are nothing more than a criminal and a coward, you will face the consequences publicly" replied Valdez. "I'm an Admiral, I'm immune from prosecution" answered Nakamura. "Not any more, Admiral Janeway stripped you of your rank. You are a traitor who collaborated in the murders of tens of thousands of Federation citizens just to start a war" replied Valdez. "You are like your parents, they were given the offer to join Section 31 but they refused and they paid the price. Funny thing is that they never saw their deaths, we tried to get their whole family but their son were not present" answered Nakamura. "You orphaned a 12 year old boy, you are looking at that orphan" replied Valdez. "That was over 30 years ago, sacrifices had to be made" answered Nakamura. "I'll see you in court, my late crew's families will also see you there because they want to see justice. Until then, you are a prisoner" replied Valdez before he left the brig.

Valdez is married to Crewman Dawson's mother, they are both firm believers in tough love on their children, step-children and grand-children. You slip up and you have to deal with the consequences, Crewman Richard Dawson fell foul of them and they both decided to teach him a lesson that he won't forget (Valdez's wife is mid term pregnant hence why Valdez was tough on Dawson from the get-go).

"Found another Section 31 safe house" reported Nydon. "Where?" asked Valdez. "Moscow" answered Nydon, "Regent Lot is preparing for a raid on this block of buildings here" he said pointing at the map. "God help those foolish enough to get in her way" commented Valdez. "Where's Crewman Dawson?" asked Nydon, "he was supposed to be on duty ten minutes ago." "Anna, go round up that lazy brother of yours" said Valdez. "Got it Dad" answered Trianna (yellow) before she left the bridge. In the enlisted dorms, Crewman Rick Dawson was woken up and told "get dressed and report to the command deck, you were supposed to be on duty 10 minutes ago" by his step-sister. "Get washed and dressed and get that backside of yours to your station, being late for duty is not a good start" ordered Trianna (yellow). "Stop acting like you're an officer........" replied Crewman Dawson before he realized that his step-sister was a Senior Officer Cadet. "Move it!!!" ordered Trianna (yellow). "Ma'am" responded Crewman Dawson before he went into the changing room and got washed and dressed.

Shade and her team were in position, "Ghost, find a vantage point and provide over watch. Be ready to remotely bring down their security" ordered Shade, "infiltration teams will move in once security is down." "Ma'am" chorused the Shadows before they broke up into their teams. Ghost (Trianna Red) spotted a roof overlooking the target building and made her way up stealthily and took up over watch position, "Ghost in position" reported Ghost as she leveled her rifle and activated her personal cloak. "Take down the security" ordered Shade via a covert channel. "Security grid going down now, 30 minutes until back ups go online. You're good to go" replied Ghost as she spotted guards patrolling the target building. Ghost reported the guard movements accurately as the rest of the Shadows infiltrated the target building and took control of the control room.

"Guard approaching control room, permission to to take down target?" asked Ghost. "Take the target down" ordered Shade. "One dead scumbag coming up" answered Ghost as she pulled the trigger on her TR-116B, the round dropped the guard and he was quickly vaporized. The Shadows now downloaded the contents of the computer and soon they destroyed the back up security grids before they could activate, any Section 31 operative foolish enough to get in the Shadows' way was dropped by a single shot to the head as Ghost changed positions between each shot but always keeping visual sight of the building. The bodies were then vaporized as the Section 31 cell leaders were knocked out by tranquilizer darts from Ghost's rifle. One all intel had been taken, the computers were infected with a worm which erased all the contents of the computer. The Shadows were in and out in less than 10 minutes as they linked up with Ghost and left the area along with their prisoners. "The Empress will be pleased, well done all of you" said Shade to her team. "Ma'am" chorused the strike team.

Aboard the I.S.S. Stadi, Papela was reading the new intel within minutes of it being put onto PADDs. "Prepare a combined operation, Imperial, Federation and Star Union"ordered Papela.

Nathan Valdez was in his office dealing with a disciplinary, "Crewman, late for duty, what's the excuse?" asked Valdez to Crewman Dawson. "Overslept" answered Crewman Dawson. "Who's fault is that?" asked Valdez. "Yours for calling a drill at 0330" answered Crewman Dawson. "This is not home life where you can get away with staying in bed until you feel like it, here we do things differently. When you are expected on duty, you should be at your station. Drills are there so every man and woman on this ship is up and at their posts at a moment's notice, being late is not acceptable" replied Valdez, "mouthing off to a superior is also unacceptable. I sent Senior Officer Cadet Valdez to wake you up and make sure you got to your post, you mouthed off to her. I'm putting you on report and you will spend an hour with the Jem'Hadar. Their first answers to me and the XO only and you will be drilled to their standard until you learn to respect the chain of command" he said afterwards.

"Like I would obey a Terran" commented Crewman Dawson. "Senior Officer Cadet Valdez is your superior, treat her with respect" replied Valdez. "I'll tell Mom that you're being harsh on me" answered Crewman Dawson. "You will be told the same thing from your mother, earn your way forward" replied Valdez. "My father let me have my fun, you just married my mother" answered Crewman Dawson. "You're here because you broke the law, your mother has had enough of your lack of respect and restraint. Party is over Mr Dawson, welcome to harsh reality. I'm the same with my girls, discipline improves a person and teaches that everyone is responsible for their actions. Any more mouthing off to superiors and it's a 4 by 6 cell for 48 hours, time you will then make up with extra duty shifts" replied Valdez, "now get out of my sight and to your post" he ordered afterwards. "Sir" answered Crewman Dawson when he realized that Valdez was not bluffing before he left the office.

On the bridge, Crewman Dawson took up his seat at the engineering station next to Trianna (yellow). "You look like a nervous wreck" said Trianna (yellow). "Your dad is intimidating, he was so calm about it" replied Crewman Dawson. "First lesson, don't challenge Dad. Trust me, it's not worth it" answered Trianna (yellow), "if you have a problem, just talk to him off duty. Off duty, he's plain old Dad" she said afterwards. "Mom got me good this time" said Crewman Dawson. "OK, what happened that landed you here?" asked Trianna (yellow). "Me and a few friends tried your sister's bar to get served, she just politely told us to leave, well it wasn't polite it was more like nice try, get out so making some fake IDs to get around the 21 rule, we hit another bar only for the police to turn up so I ran totally drunk over a wall and a fence broke my fall. Staring a dog in the eye while drunk is not a good place to be, and it was a very big dog" answered Crewman Dawson. "Ah, you met Attila, he's a Terran Timber Wolf" replied Trianna (yellow). "So that's how I got here, why are you quietly laughing?" asked Crewman Dawson. "It's damn funny, thanks bro" replied Trianna (yellow). "Charming, why did it have to be sisters?" thought Crewman Dawson. "I heard that" said Trianna (yellow) smiling.

"Lesson two, cleaning your kit. Come on" said Trianna (yellow) as she got boot polish and a cloth, "You need to learn how to support yourself, we'll start with polishing our boots" she said afterwards. "I still can't believe Mom packed me off to Military school" answered Crewman Dawson. "You hate being told what to do, that's the problem. Dad's tough because any weakness could lead to people dying. A crew works as one, disruptive elements are not tolerated because they put not only themselves, they put others at risk" replied Trianna (yellow). "Nathan hates me" answered Crewman Dawson. "It's the opposite, Dad is a believer in tough love. He's tough on you because he wants you to be a better person, what's better? This or a cell?" advised Trianna (yellow). "This, at least I have a degree of freedom" answered Crewman Dawson as he watched and followed his sister's example cleaning his boots. "You've missed a bit, you want them so you can see your own reflection" said Trianna (yellow).

"How's these?" asked Crewman Dawson passing his boots over. "Do them again, remember you want to see your own reflection" answered Trianna (yellow) after inspection. "This is boring" complained Crewman Dawson. "Not really, its relaxing. You're getting there, again" answered Trianna (yellow), "This is how they are supposed to look. Go on, it's not difficult. You need to apply yourself" she said afterwards after she had finished her boots. Outside, Valdez was coming off his duty shift when he knocked on Trianna's (yellow) quarters. "Enter" said Trianna (yellow). "I'm not on duty, drop ranks" said Valdez, "Rick, I see you've got a mentor" he said afterwards. "Anna is giving me lessons on how to survive" said Crewman Dawson. "Takes me back to my youth, polishing boots" replied Valdez as he took a seat. "I can never get it right, Anna always says again if they are not perfect" answered Crewman Dawson. "It takes practice, it eventually becomes second nature. The amount of times I had my boots thrown at me if they were not perfect, I lost count of when I went through MACO boot camp at your age" replied Valdez.

"I guess Anna is being gentle about it" answered Crewman Dawson as he was cleaning his boots. "Again" said Trianna (yellow). "Listen to her, she's trying to teach you vital skills. You're going to fail the first few or several times in this case, keep practicing. It may be boring but shows pride" said Valdez to Crewman Dawson. "How are these?" asked Crewman Dawson. "A pass, keep them to this standard. Well done" answered Valdez. "You and Mom, how long have you actually known her for?" asked Crewman Dawson. "35 years, we were friends in the same class at the same school. After the accident, I lost contact for over 30 years" answered Valdez. "Some of the stories are funny, Mom told me a few" said Trianna (yellow), "like the time Dad ate that much chocolate that it ended up all over the hallway" she said afterwards. "I had to clean that up, my parents showed me no sympathy" answered Valdez, "Joanna taking on the school bully, that was something" he said afterwards. "Mom hates bullies" replied Crewman Dawson. "She kneed the bully where it hurt, I've never seen someone go down so fast" answered Valdez. "Ouch" replied Crewman Dawson wincing. "Who knew 30 plus years later I'd end up marrying her" said Valdez. "I miss Mom and the family" replied Crewman Dawson. "It's never easy being away from loved ones, it's something we deal with on a daily basis" answered Valdez. "That's the hard part" replied Crewman Dawson. "You'll get used to it" answered Valdez. "Thanks Nathan, like it or not, you and Anna are family" replied Crewman Dawson. "Family supports each other" answered Trianna (yellow). "Rick, off duty and private, it's Nathan but on duty it's sir" said Valdez. "Boundaries?" asked Crewman Dawson. "Exactly, there is a line between professional and personal. Boundaries keep those apart" answered Valdez.

"Off duty and in private, it's Nathan but on duty it's Sir. Got it" replied Crewman Dawson. "Welcome to the crew Rick, stick to those boundaries and earn your way forward. By the way you are still on report so I'll be keeping an eye on you, Anna will be your mentor" answered Valdez, "Anna, keep him out of trouble" he said afterwards. "He'll get a don't even think about it every so often" said Trianna (yellow). "Thanks, come on let's get some dinner, what do you both want?" asked Valdez. "Malaysian" answered Crewman Dawson. "Malaysian" added Trianna (yellow). "Malaysian it is" said Valdez and they went for dinner together.

"Target of interest, Regent Lot is proposing a joint operation to deal with a Section 31 data-hub" said Nydon. "Location?" asked Valdez. "Belize, Central America" answered Nydon. "This a tricky one, on three sides, the city is surrounded by jungle and the coast to it's rear. Has the target building been identified?" asked Valdez. "The Regent has her people working on that" answered Nydon. "Gives us time to prepare our troops, so far we've been dealing with safe houses, a major data hub is something else" replied Valdez, "Launch a drone, let's start mapping the target area" he ordered afterwards. "Any choice of disguise?" asked Nydon. "Civilian freighter, we need a full 3D map of the target zone" answered Valdez. "Sir" replied Nydon, "Launch the drone, set skin to civilian freighter and start mapping these co-ordinates on Earth" he ordered afterwards giving the drone pilots the directions. "Sir" chorused the crewman.

The drone adapted it's disguise and was soon in Earth orbit scanning and mapping the target area. "Be thorough" advised Valdez to the Romulan crewman. "Sir" answered the crewman. "Your name crewman?" asked Valdez. "Crewman Rinna Khal sir" answered Crewman Khal. "Ms Khal, I'll need a subterranean scan once the ground scans are complete" replied Valdez. "Yes sir" answered Crewman Khal. "Carry on, keep up the good work" replied Valdez before he moved onto Crewman Dawson's station, "Crewman, you're on time, how are the engines?" asked Valdez. "All functioning sir" answered Crewman Dawson. "Good, still listening to your sister?" asked Valdez. "I am sir, she expects too much from me" answered Crewman Dawson. "Takes a while to get it right, you'll stumble at first but you'll get there. It takes practice" advised Valdez. "That's what Senior Cadet Valdez keeps saying" replied Crewman Dawson. "Listen to her, she's your mentor" answered Valdez. "Yes sir" replied Crewman Dawson. "Carry on Crewman" answered Valdez before he carried on with his rounds.

Belize City, Central America, Earth (Prime)

Ghost and a small recon team had infiltrated the city and got to work, what they were tracking was Section 31 traffic as they started tracking by drone. "Drones up, start following those transmissions" ordered Ghost to her team. "Tracking a signal now" reported one of the commandos. "Now we wait" answered Ghost as they waited under cover in the tree line for the target building location. Aboard the Stadi, Papela got the report that a team was on the ground. All she had to was wait for the target building location. "Our allies have begun the terrain mapping" reported Regent Petrofski. "Warn our allies that Section 31 won't be surrendering, they'll kill as many of us as possible before they die" ordered Papela. "Ma'am" answered Petrofski.

Aboard the Harbinger, Valdez got the message. "Thanks for the advance warning" commented Valdez. "A shoot to kill order?" asked Nydon. "Drop them before they drop us, we need some alive. The rest, let the Imperials have them" replied Valdez. "Striking fear into our enemy's heart" answered Nydon. "Then they should not have crossed the wrong people, they reap what they sow" replied Valdez. "The very mention of the word Jem'Hadar often put fear into their enemies, it's time we reminded them of who to truly fear" answered Nydon. "They better be afraid, hell is coming for them" replied Valdez. "A wise strategy, use fear" answered Nydon. "I'll take that under wise council" replied Valdez. "I'll start preparing the troops" answered Nydon. "Remind them of the rules of engagement number one" replied Valdez. "Sir" answered Nydon before he left the bridge.

                                RDW Harbinger (Prime)

"How's our map coming" asked Valdez to Crewman Khal. "Subterranean scans complete sir" reported Crewman Khal. "Super impose the surface scan on top of the subterranean scan" ordered Valdez. "Transferring to the table now sir" reported Crewman Khal. "Carry on crewman" answered Valdez before he went to the table. "Ground teams have the city monitored, so far no location" reported Nydon. "Section 31 don't want to be found" answered Valdez. "Sirs, how much power does each house in that city consume daily?" asked Crewman Dawson. "Crewman, what are you getting at. Come up to the table and show us" ordered Valdez. "Sir, I thought I was in trouble" answered Crewman Dawson. "You're not, I'm open to new ideas" replied Valdez. "A data hub is going to require more power than a residential or commerce structure. Computer, display power grid for Belize City" answered Crewman Dawson. The display changed as each street and building on the map was put over the city power grid, "Interesting" noted Valdez as each building's power signature was highlighted on the map.

"Isolate the port area and harbor and focus in on this signature here" ordered Valdez. "Match what we have learnt from the enemy communication network with the suspect location" said Nydon. "The drone is picking up a unusual power signature from a complex of warehouse along the dock. Someone has been trying to dampen it but they could not hide it all" reported Crewman Khal. "Also where the the power signature is at it's greatest, I'd look there" suggested Crewman Dawson. "Send this to our allies, they've got a ground team down there" ordered Valdez, "Crewman Dawson, good catch now back to your post" he ordered afterwards. "Sir" answered Crewman Dawson. Aboard the Stadi, the new intel was processed and confirmation of activity in the docks had led to Ghost and her team taking a closer look. Remaining concealed, they watched the warehouses noting the armed Section 31 security units in the warehouse closest to the water, "Bandits at warehouse Alpha C, armed troops appear to be going in and out of target building. Wait, we have a new delivery of parts. Identifying now" said Ghost to Papela over a secure line. "What are you looking?" asked Papela. "These appear to be new computer processing units and not the type you'd find in Starfleet and civilian uses" answered Ghost. "Thank you, move to evac site and transport out with your team" ordered Papela. "Ma'am" answered Ghost. Ghost and her team were on the Stadi within the the hour and they were fully debriefed on their report. "Col, well done to you and your team" said Papela. "I need to hit the showers, I smell like a sewer" replied Ghost. "Go get cleaned up and get something to eat. I need you rested" ordered Papela. "Ma'am" answered Ghost before she dismissed her MACO team.

Aboard Harbinger, Valdez got the ground report and after several drone scans of the target location, Warehouse Alpha C was confirmed as the data hub the Allies were after. Later that day Valdez had a talk with his children, "Rick, see what happens when you apply yourself" he said to Crewman Dawson. "It was just an idea" answered Crewman Dawson. "It was the breakthrough we were after, you've excelled yourself but don't let it go to your head" replied Valdez. "You on duty?" asked Crewman Dawson. "I'm not, it's good that you are remembering the boundaries" replied Valdez. "Are you calling home?" asked Crewman Dawson. "I am" answered Valdez before he put a secure channel home on. "Nathan, hows our son been?" asked Joanna Valdez. "He learnt the first lesson the hard way, don't challenge dad" answered Trianna (yellow). "I'm still on report for it, Nathan does not take prisoners" added Crewman Dawson as he was cleaning his boots. "Nathan, what have you done with our son?" asked Joanna as she saw Rick cleaning his kit. "Showing him military discipline, he does not get away with doing what he wants" answered Valdez. "Mom, all the stress I caused you. It was not worth it because I'm stuck on a warship in god knows what part of the galaxy and I'm missing you all" said Crewman Dawson. "You needed a boot up the backside, you have to grow up and earn your way forwards. Rick, I want you to improve as a person and be a good example to your baby sister when she's born. You have to show responsibility and packing you off to military school may be the only way you learn that lesson because me and Nathan, we've had enough of your antics" answered Joanna. "Rick, your mother has a point, I suggest you listen" added Valdez. "Mom, tough love?" asked Crewman Dawson to Joanna. "Sometimes, that is what's required. You put yourself in your position, nobody else now you have to deal with it" answered Joanna. "Yes Mom" replied Crewman Dawson. "How's military life?" asked Joanna. "Hard, I have to wake up at a certain time and be at my station on time. I have to clean my own kit and that includes the uniform though I get guidance from Anna" answered Crewman Dawson. "Welcome to the world of being an adult" replied Joanna.

                                  Seldonis III (Red)

Regent Solat had been deployed to deal with a trouble spot, she sent the Empress's ultimatum with a message which read "If we were to return to the old ways of the Empire, you, all of your supporters, and every world that you occupy would be reduced to smoking rubble and ash for daring to oppose the the Empire. Tell me, is that what you want? Do want me to kill all of you? Because i am so very tired of you and your kind and i would not loose any sleep over what i would do to you." The rebel response was "Then we secede from the Empire, we will not pay our taxes and we hereby declare that the outer colonies will be independent nations until the alien scum is removed. Never trust the alien, fear the alien and kill the alien, furthermore we will not recognize the authority of a subhuman. A Terran Empire for Terrans only, we will never surrender to this occupation." Empress Heath having heard the rebel response over a secure channel decided an example was to be made.

In a message directly from the Empress, her response was decisive, "so be it. And alway remember. Your backwards narrow minded thinking brought what happens next upon yourselves." "No surrender to the w**** of Bajor, we enjoyed the desecration of your temples and committing genocide on your worthless people" was the answer back. The channel then closed. "Regent, make an example of them" ordered Heath. "It will be done, pick your target" replied Solat. "Destroy one of their moons, show them our power. Furthermore, make sure this goes on INN" ordered Heath. "You heard the Empress, you've got two moons to choose from" said Solat. "Found a dead moon, no life. Permission to crack open the surface?" asked T'Pamne. "Granted, reduce it to magma" ordered Solat. "With pleasure" answered T'Pamne before she opened fire. The second moon was broken open as molten magma flowed to the surface causing the surface to erupt in a series of fissure eruptions. To finish the moon off, a shot was fired into it's active caldera. What followed next was a super eruption as ash began to shroud the moon and it's surface was overwhelmed by pyroclastic surges. Earthquakes soon followed and the moon began to break apart revealing it's molten mantle, on the planet below, shocked face look up at the glowing molten ball in the sky. What followed next was the ground landings and soon the population of Seldonis III was deported. Those who resisted were brought down as Imperial troops cleared the main settlement. Once the population had been deported, Imperial troops armed with flame throwers put the settlement to the torch. Seldonis III had been made an example of.

                                  Terra (MU Red)

At the Regent palace, the press filled the garden as Regent Jasmine Smith-Petrofski made an announcement, "My fellow Terrans, these past months have been unkind. Due to the actions of a minority of misguided fools, we must pay a penance. That penance is Imperial service. I am calling on anyone who wants to regain our race's honor to volunteer for the Terran Guard, those who don't want to fight will be put to use in other fields like public service. The Terran Guard regiments are volunteer only and only open to Terrans. We are a martial people, a race of warriors. In the Empress's light we are her avenging angels of death to those who would bring you the citizen harm. My husband is fighting the good fight, follow his example and redeem our honor as a people. We are also here today to award a citizen for showing courage and bravery despite what happened to her family. She is only one of seven survivors of the Caleb IV massacre and she will be recognized as a honorable citizen. Citizen Kaval Pel, please step forwards." Pel stepped forward and was escorted to the podium where Jasmine said "For your courage and bravery in standing up to those who did great harm, you are awarded the Pride of the Empire award" before she put the medal around Pel's neck to a round of applause, "Kaval Pel is nine years old, she was rescued along with six other survivors. 1193 of her people did not make it, I want you all to think about this. Those who wish to harm others should hang their heads in shame, when innocents are the victims, the line is crossed. Anyone who crosses that line will feel the full fury of the Empress's justice and you cannot hide. The old ways are dead, they are never coming back no matter how hard you try. Kaval Pel's story will be broadcast across the Empire as a lesson to all that intolerance and xenophobia are morally wrong. Those rebels who will not surrender should heed the fate of Seldonis III. They tried to break away from the Empire using violence, this is what the Empire did to their moon" said Jasmine showing the footage, "the population of Seldonis III were deported to re-education centres and their children taken off them and put with foster families. This is the price of rebellion" she finished with.

                                    (Sapph's POV)

I'm in my ship's throne room after recieving intel of an incoming attack by S31. My forces consist of 10 cruisers, 30 escorts, 3 dreadnoughts, 5 drone carriers as well as a lot of ships from Pride Landers and Sealsa's fleet as well as Admiral Luperca's forces. TF Okami's squadron of Phantoms is at the front cloaked and ready to attack on my mate's order. I send a squadron of recon drones at the interdimensional portal to determine the size of the invasion fleet as well as their tactics and logistics. They begin the scans and send the data to my forces. Apparently S31 has strong logistics and confusion tactics given their nature. I can use the latter to my advantage to sow dissent in their ranks. I send out an evac order to all the inhabitants so they can evac to the safe zones via the interdimensional tunnel network in the Alola region. I also send a request to the Triumvirate to deploy ground defenses, planetary shields, and city wide shields along major population centers via Yuhoan telepathy. I also begin to deploy orbital defenses and set up a massive self replicating minefield around the portal. I move the satellites to their max range and set up smaller minefields around them as well. I order a few of my ships to move a large asteroid in front of said minefield. With my preparations complete, I focus on the intel phase.

My drones also relay S31's fleet composition to me and my mate. It consists of 30 cruisers, 5 science vessels, and 40 escorts as well as logistics vessels of various sizes. The formation is highly lackluster since the admiral in charge thinks he can conquer the Pokeworld easily. The S31 commander begins to order his lightest ships forward unaware of the trap I laid for them. The S31 Phantoms crash into the asteroid and minefields turning them into a massive debris field that quickly becomes a nightmare for the rest of the fleet to navigate. I give one order to the fleet, "Advance and disable the rest of the ships."

The massive fleet advances on the trapped ships and fires EMP weapons to disable them. Cyberwarfare teams begin to hack into the computers and space all the crews. The captured ships are brought back to my lines. I analyze the data coming into my personal computer and feed Amy at the same time. Luckily, there are no casualties on my side, but 3000 S31 officers are wiped out. I transfer command of anti S31 ops to one of my allies.

I warmly respond, "Son, you're safe with me. I won't let them harm you again. The doctors told me to make sure you rest."

He weakly responds, "Thank you." and cries on my chest. I gently pull his cute face into my chest and purr to him. I activate the intercom and announce, "This is Admiral Jayde. Patch me into S31 comms"

The comms officer answers, "Yes Admiral. Patching you now"

I roar, "This is Admiral Jayde to any and all S31 personnel. You nearly hurt my allies, but I don't blame you for trying. However, you nearly killed my son! I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND KILL YOU MYSELF!" This isn't over yet...

Most likely standard cloaks, Battle Group Scythe is a mixed force of Dreadnoughts (Valdez's flagship is a Modified Scimitar), battle ships, frigates, destroyers and his artillery ships. His style of warfare is hit hard, hit fast and draw your enemy into a trap (Valdez is a military historian who utilizes the tactics of the Mongols, attack then feign a retreat to lure your enemy in before you surround them and crush them, tactics he's utilized against the Dominion during the Terran/Dominion War). He's been defeated and that was by his counterpart denying battle until his prime counterpart had been herded into a trap. The lessons he learnt from that was never underestimate your opponent and he has not made that mistake twice. In ground combat, he falls back on his days of serving in MACO (he was with MACO for six years and rose to Sgt) and his operations are carefully planned down to the smallest detail.

That's why intel, recon of a target and getting the floor plans of a target are vital. He also places emphasize on training and rehearsing the operation until it's perfectly executed though the plan can be adaptable to field conditions. He will lead the troops on the ground himself, he's a lead by example type and his teams (Jem'Hadar and Reman Shadow Guard have a tech specialist for dealing with things like security (His daughters (Yellow and Red) consider breaking into computer networks a hobby and and having one of them on ground with the troops is a big advantage). He also expects the highest standards from his crews (Battle Group Scythe is the elite of the Star Union navy).

Valdez is no Thrawn, nowhere near that level. Feigned retreat and luring your opponent into your trap are standard nomadic battle tactics. I'll link you a few videos on Mongol tactics so you can understand them first but you could use the tactics of a different general. Same general, here's how to defeat two enemies 500 miles apart at the same time.
These are the battle tactics Valdez uses (A lot tamer because dead civilians is the last thing he needs. It would be a propaganda victory for the enemy)

Sapphire likes to destroy her opponent's logistics first via hit and fade attacks. An army or navy marches on its stomach after all. She also prioritizes the enemy commander since the loss of the head will cause chaos in the enemy ranks.

Yep. My characters will like that idea since S31 targeted them and their families. Time to kill some S31 scum.

Like Karl Doenitz's use of his U-Boat wolfpacks to destroy Allied supply shipping to the UK in order to starve them into surrender, a better example would be the US submarines destroying Japan's supply shipping in the Pacific (The U-Boats were eventually defeated and most sunk, in Japan's case the submarine attacks on her shipping led to starvation and Japan's capacity to make war was severely reduced to the point they were powerless to stop to the US blocking their home islands by 1945)

General sniping, does not always work as there is always someone to replace them. I play Total War on the PC and killing the enemy general does not always guarantee victory (I prefer to wipe their army out in front of the general before I put him to death and I don't take prisoners)

Keyblade launcher (I'll include stuff from my fanmade setting after the last story.)

                                            Weapon: Magic railgun
Ammo: Keyblades (Kingdom Key, X Blade, Ultima Weapon, etc)
Description:The Keyblade launcher looks like a magic railgun which fires Keyblades at lightspeed. It’s embedded into the hulls of dreadnoughts, battleships, and other heavy warships. The Keyblades are made by transmuting a magically conductive alloy into one. They are propelled outside the weapon by magic rails. The Kingdom Keyblades are the least damaging, but they can be fired en masse. The X blades and Ultima Weapons are the magic versions of sniper rounds. They can be fired once every 30 minutes.

The Keyblade launcher has 2 modes, auto and sniper. The former fires a volley of low damage Keyblades for a short CD. The latter fires a single high damage Keyblade (more accurate) for a long cooldown. The railgun has 4 prongs. automatic fire as two rails launch a keyblade at a time, the pairs of prongs alternating so whilst one prong pair is propelling the keyblade, the other pair is cooling down.
Meanwhile, with the sniper mode, all 4 prongs/rails propel the keyblade; generating greater accuracy, but at the expense of having no staggered firing and so all the prongs have to cool at the same time.
