Yeah I'm pretty much thinking the same as @farmallm I didn't realize it was such a long ordeal on consoles waiting for patchs. But I guess they have their reasons for doing it monthly. It just surprised me that it wasn't as regular as STO or the other mmo's people have mentioned like WoW and SWTOR.

If I remember right, WoW did theirs on every Tuesday. But it been a few years since I last played.

Just found out SW Battlefront (on PS4) only does maintenance once a month.
The people who do the maintenance here should be praised.
Once a week like clockwork. + Emergency maintenance when needed.
Why? its their job to fix their own game and they get paid for it. Besides the way I see it they're not doing such a great job anyway considering all the lag in stfs and bugs lingering around for ages without ever being addressed.

Weekly patches or not, right now this game is hella broken...........
welcome to the world of computer coding where nothing works completely and a game with as complex coding as STO the bugs i have seen are acceptable some i did not even know about. there is a hierarchy to how bugs get fix the real critical as well as simple fixes usually are first with real problem child bugs lower does not mean they do not know about it it's just they are lower on the food chain
Im glad you have, my machine has no issues whatsoever, my wife however, well.
So if it never applied to you how did you arrive at: "A fix that doesn't work, isn't a fix" for this specific patch note?

Yea if my ships issue have never worked after the "fix" was applied that isn't a fix.
A fix has to work to actually be called a fix in my book, if it doesn't it's just a "failure" and has to be done over.
