Arc Quest: Redeeming Points - any point in waiting for 30k?

So I've been doing Arc Quests for a bit now and got my first 5000 points, enough for the lowest zen redemption. I looked at the redemptions and the only seeming change is just multiples of 500 zen for every 5000 points, up to 30k points for 3000 zen. But is there any reason to get that much instead of just cashing in every time you reach 5k points? I know that when you're buying Zen there are bonuses for buying large amounts, but that doesn't seem like the case here.]

So, any hidden bonuses or what?

I've looked it over and come to the same conclusions as you :).

Yeah, I don't see any reason to wait. If there are any bonuses, they're not advertised.

same for me 5k turn in is fine, I guess if you are running multiple games and accumulating points like crazy it might get irritating turning in points after every 5k but personally I am only running sto and getting points if a sign into arc daily quest happens to come up so it will take me quite a while to get to 5k anyway.
I just see no reason for saving points beyond that, not that I am in any great rush to get zen but I don't see any bonus for turning in greater amounts anyway.

When I think about everything we've been through together,

maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

and if that journey takes a little longer,

so we can do something we all believe in,

I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

You only have to summon the launchers from the Arc page to trigger the quest counters. I've walked a couple of rewards for other games without ever having played them. I may play them at some point, and I have them installed, but that's not a prerequisite for scoring the quest points.

Since they may end the arc game at any time it is actually better to cash in when ever you get to 5000 because if you wait your efforts might be erased.

Nor should they be. Their ships would look weird.

I would rather not install unnecessary clutter on my hard drive, if I have no intention of playing a game I wont install it even for free zen, I am not that desperate for the stuff that I have to cheat my way to acquiring it.

I am happy to take the reward for things I am actually doing like playing sto or logging into arc but that's stuff I would be doing anyway.

that's likely to happen all the sooner due to the likes of some players when cryptic/pw realise they are giving away heaps of zen with no extra game time logged.

from past experience I know they don't like players taking advantage and exploiting these kind of things.
