I added your questions to the OP @darkknightucf (thx) to help players realize that we talk about server sided trouble generated by performance players in team making use of a lot of abilities.
At times it’s beyond ridiculous how many times I have to hammer on AP beta or other abilities until they engage during a PvE match while they seem to go on by themselves already when merely look at them in a story mission.
I am honored. Like you, I find it very... disheartening.. when we watch activated abilities go on cooldown, but we do not receive the benefit.
I will say this; I played in Foundry a few times yesterday in a map that makes HSE look like a walk in the park. Surprisingly, there was nowhere near as much performance issues as there was in the HSE & ISA before and after that map. We'll try again tonight, but that might be indicative of what some of the problems may be. Instance server for established queues sitting in a virtual server on overworked hardware? Not enough resource allocation to the instance/virtual server(s)? @crypticrock forgot to feed the hamsters again (yes, it's your turn)?
Quite frankly I've stopped bothering with support. I have for the last 3 weeks been suffering from Random SNR spikes that cause me to disconnect and sometimes it's soo bad I can't stay connected long enough to make it past the loading screen. All support does is ask for a traceroute (which shows up fine) and tells me to check with my ISP when I check with then they say it's an issue with the site or location I'm trying to access....

Performance does appear to be getting worse for me i can't do a ISA with dps channels without some major lag or rubber banding. However it also occurs in Pug matches as well. ISA/CSA/KSA and CCA are my main culprits.
I'm pointing the finger at certain skills/powers introduced with the skill revamp, as performance beforehand was a lot better. To many powers to activate and not enough system memory to process the math.
Just to add my voice to the chorus, also having issues with lag.
Most if not all has been already been mentioned by others, activation lag, having to click abilities repeatedly for it to fire, misfires.
The one that is really getting on my nerves are "SNR's".
Gameplay while in a gameplay "map" is tolerable apart from the above occasional issues, however on nearly every map change im hit with SNRs, oddly, all lasting around the 35 second mark IF i manage to change maps, otherwise its a disco.
None of these issues existed for me ( or at least so minor as not to be memorable ) prior to 11.5, and since then, do seem to be getting worse.
Every maintenance i hope for a fix, that they managed to find the "silver bullet" that fixes whatever it is/was thats caused it.
It'll be interesting to see how long console players are gonna stick with STO when they start getting lagged out and have to relog numerous times just to farm their daily dilith.
Thank you very much for participating in my thread @crypticrock.
I must admit that I find your sense of humor on topic admirable as I have seem to lost mine the past few weeks when tending to your product. It’s always sad to see when in game friends showing up with new releases like 11.5 disappear soon after because of the same quality issues they suffered from a year back already.
Is there anything constructive you or your colleagues could insert here concerning the player’s power related lag we currently experience (starting with April 12th and making it particularly worse with April 28th patch)?
Just wondering because holodeck as well as tribble patch notes not even mention anything under know issues. Even negative responses would be appreciated at this point as they would help me and others to reevaluate their relationship with Star Trek Online especially in light of the upcoming expansion.
As it stands now those of us who dedicated themselves most to this hobby, and thereby supported you the most, also suffer the most. The educational process here is pretty dead on with more than one alternative available.
So please pass this on or help out a bit yourself as to which one it should be.

I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.
I'm with you on this 100%!!!!!
