Indeed it is, sir. And given the Na'kuhl's modus operandi, I for one would not dismiss the possibility of squadrons making surprise appearances in other Red Alerts and Deep Space Encounters... or their being added to the OPFOR roster for Colony Invasion, as well as Fleet Alert and its 'sibling' queues.
On another note, I do wonder if this new event or events will have its own pool(s) of named ships to headhunt...
What we asked for in the Iconian war now has it made to this new war. Good. I welcome our new nakuhl target practise.
Seriously though: This is a good thing. Thanks for listening.
As I understand it, Cryptic wanted to do Iconian/Herald Red Alerts, but they couldn't fit it int the schedule of all the other content they released. (And last year was definitely a busy year...)
Personally I think they should have adjusted the schedule and delay some other content, but then, that's easy to say from my comfortable armchair.

I agree most of all if they had done such a release in a staggered manner over the course of the content arc. Such as that we started with a delta quad linked red alert where we warp in to a group of Vaadwaur ships are attacking a group of other race's ships (kinda like the Tholian red alert), though it could be if we warped into say the Vaadwaur are attacking the Voth we actually face off against both groups. Than as the story arc continued on we could have had the Vaadwaur call for help from the herald or other servitor races that are allied with the Iconians. Though I was also thinking they might have been planning to have us go to Iconia as an actual battlezone.
I just hope they are going to be interesting. And I sincerely hope it won't take them 11 months again to make it work as it did with Tholian red alert.
Yeah, curious about the statement that the Red Alert was here for a limited time.

Of 2013
Anyways, look forward to blowing up more dumb people up who think they can take on the Alliance.

Could care less...I guess they are running out of baddies.
