Shuttle equipment replacing

i was thinking should i replace my shuttles standered issue weapons with higher marks or should i just keep them. i know that the standered issue equipment levels with you but would a higher mark do better or worse?

In my experience, Mk. XII+ gear is better than max-level smallcraft gear. Last time I bothered to check was before the level cap was raised to 60, though, so you might want to double check the numbers.

Well the main attraction of the shuttle beam weapons used to be the 360 degree arcs but now you can get omni beams from any flavour through crafting and also as specialized episode rewards. So i'd say swap those out for sure. Crafted and rep gear can go up to epic Mk XIV so that's gonna be pretty potent.

Engines and other items I'd say there's a huge variety of goodies from reps and crafting so see what fits your build best.

I usually just just the space set from my main ship along with one of its beams and a torp. So no shuttle-specific gear at all.
